Need input on stealth harvesting methods.

Hey guys, long time farmer here who's considering a switch to indoor now that privacy has become a concern.

Before I put any effort/money into starting a new op I want to make sure I can pull off a stealth harvest that won't stink up the house.

My current plan is to build a small grow tent and hook up a 4" or 6" fan with a carbon filter and run it at medium to low speed. I have seen this done before, but I haven't heard how well this works for concealing the overpowering stink of a fresh harvest.

Do you guys think this will be a sufficient method to neutralize odor? Or will I need to add in masking agents, or even an ozone generator? Will it even be possible to neutralize most of the smell?

If I can't pull off a near smell-free harvest I won't be going forward with another grow until I can find privacy again. Safety first.

Quite the opposite, pal. I have years of experience growing the harvest, but I've never had to conceal the smell before.

I'm not going to start a new crop without knowing if my odor control plans are sufficient or not.

to better help besides jackass above me that didn't read the first part about you saying your an experienced grower. grow tents are amazing. I used to hate them and oppose them all together until I ran into a point where I needed them. believe it or not if the ventilation is perfect then you wont smell a thing with or with out a filter. I do not recommend you building one because with out it being once piece all the way around your going to have your crack and what not their for your whole house will stink. check out a secret jardin or a grow lab, little costly but man they work. but if all else fails and you decide to just build one I suggest you use the filter and a ozone generator which will purify everything in that small area. hope this helps

I did a grow and harvest and the hot tip is the ONA bucket. I love the smell and if you keep it fresh it kills all the smell

I use Phresh filters. They are a bit expensive, but worth the piece of mind. There is no smell at all, even with the stinkiest of strains. You could smoke in my tent and not smell anything outside. Also, if you build your own box, a few small 'leaks' aren't a big deal as long as you're running negative pressure inside the box. With an adequate exhaust system, you shouldn't even need an intake fan. I'm using a Dayton centrifugal fan in my tent. It works really well even though I had to cobble-job a connection to the scrubber. There are lots of inline fans that you can check out. But, I had the centrifugal fan from a mini-fridge that I was using to grow in and I didn't want it to go to waste.
