You can have a great idea but if it doesn't have a market no one will license it. You have to be able to hear the word no over and over again. You are looking for the needle in the haystack. You almost have to sell to a fairly large company because you have to recoup your expenses to be able to move on to the next patent and in some instances those costs can run into the high 5 figures and beyond.

I'm wondering who can possibly pay someone like yourself $10k a month when an acquaintance of mine writes for a major publication and doesn't make that much.

You'll find out in a few months, and when I said 10k a month that is on the HIGH end. Just like 1k will be on the low end. From what I can personally see now, it looks like I'll be making between 2-5k a month. That's in a regular month where I publish a casual amount of material.

No, the motivation was to learn a little more about growing, which I did, if you go back I was part of many people's grow threads and learned a lot of good stuff. The trolls are completely a byproduct on the site, and what I was talking about in your quote is the fact that I type in a more casual manner than I write That post was not at all about my motivation for being here. But After I learned abut growing I found tons of discussions to join here, and found out that when I post something it get like 100 replies in a day... So I don't really see a reason to leave

The best part is you do look like him and for all your shit talk you still live on a couch and haven't even received your first paycheck. My money is real and I can actually touch it where as you are counting your eggs before they've hatched. I worked my ass off for it building a legitimate business from the ground up, nobody ever handed me shit and I had to make my living illegally for years before I could make enough legally to step away. You can shit talk me all you want for being what I consider financially responsible and not blowing it on absurd shit because I look at it as my future, a house, a college education and travelling out of the country maybe even permanently. I've been supporting myself since I was 17 and never had the luxury of there being people I could mooch off of, you're scum kid. Just another low life pos trying to avoid responsibility or actual work until their fantasies come down around them and they run out of couches to crash on.
