You don't suck.
Anyone who grows this herb is a hero regardless.
It's all about plant training and making use of every last bit of light.
Anything under my 1-1.5ft of canopy gets removed during the first 2weeks of 12/12. So I get rock hard top colas around 7-10" long then solid nugs underneath.
Another thing is that my plants are ALWAYS green and they NEVER yellow off in late flowering due to an NPK of 6-3-8 that I use the whole way through.
With my 400w I see it as I have around 2ft of penetration. So even if my plants exceed 2ft tall at any time I try to only keep 2ft of growth from the top down. Anything outside of the 2ft penetration won't develope fully so its removed.
This makes trimming at harvest very easy.

6-8 ounces from 2 plants in a 3 x 3 tent with a 600 watt hps in coco
veg for about 4-6 weeks, scrog mostly
I could easily pull 18 ounces off of two blue dream plants, that stuff was so easy to grow.
I'm not a drug dealer, I grow for me and my friends/family.
Quality is way more important than quantity.
Grow great weed really well and you will get quantity.
You can get quantity of mediocre weed. That is what drug dealers do.

Ive been kind of polluting the forum lately with questions about my grow, but its my 1st and Im quite excited with my progress, and thats what RIU is for right??
So my goal is 5-6oz, which I will be content with and any more would really make me happy. Im not looking to flower yet, but I want to within the next 10 days or so. I would flower now and Im sure Id reach my goal but my plants arent feminised so theres no telling which or how many will be female. So I suppose my question is if I flower in a week or so, do you guys think I can reach my goal? This is a pic from a few days ago.
1g pots, jacks classic nutes, 600w plants are 5.5-7.5"

I'd try and move up to at least 3 gl pots for best yield. That's if you have the room.
thanks, no i know i don't suck (lol) i was being sarcastic! please don't think my post count relates to my experience as i've been doing this for a little while now. i'm gonna say there is no way you are gonna get to 4-6 zips (a plant) faster than i. gram per watt claims do not impress me when it takes longer to get there. you say 2 weeks veg time and also claim to do all this trimming and training in that 2 weeks only of veg (not gonna happen, i don't care who you are) and then the first 2 weeks of flower you're gonna start chopping on them some more, all with out stalling your growth or progress whatsoever? 14 weeks from seed to 4-6 zips (per plant is what i get), 12 weeks from clone to harvest. factor or divide in the time you take/add on top of your gram per watt claims to get there and then think about it. i'm still not trying to be an ass but my conditions are perfect and i don't touch my plants, good luck beating me to the finish. i will post up some AMAZING pics of my plants (larry ogs) if you will post up just one of your 2 footers ready for harvest that you're gonna get 4 zips from.

you are saying that a freshly rooted six or eight inch clone under a light for 2 weeks then flipped at 8 or 10 inches, topped and lollipopped
will give you 4 zips under 400 watts AND you put 4 of them under a 400 watt lamp
that's a lot of qualification man

no strain i have or have heard of
i could even see keeping it under 2 feet - but not if there's 4 of them in a 2.5x 2.5 space

You should be able to reach your goal, if we're talking 5-6oz (dry) total. The two crucial variables are light and space. As such, if you have only one female at the end, for example, have the plant take up as much space as possible relative to the light intensity. I'd also suggest running 2gal pots into bloom. Just finished first indoor grow - tent, (1) 400w MH and HPS light, air cooled vent. 4" fan. I got the clones at 3" , vegged for 2 weeks until 9-12"..
the light was prob to far away most of the time and I didnt top, pop or really over nute them..
I got small/ med tops and fluffy poo underneath ( next grow will be much much better ) .. anyway
my point is I have read this guy claiming 4 zips on one plant....... Hmmmmmmm. i may be new to growin but think that is a tad over stated.
I yielded 182 grams from 7 plants that were on avg 28" . doing all i said before.... please tell me how to yield that amount !!!!!!
Are you saying that by topping, popping and perhaps some tying down technique you turned 2' plants into beasts...

Once you see white pistals forming then its a female right ???? dump the rest.
I believe it its all got to do with his strain and climate & method of growing etc he must have all that really dialed in for instance the way he metioned his npk is spot on no faiding of leaves all the way through majority of people always get faided leaves towards the end.curious what is the strain

3weeks veg. The strain though took 12 weeks to finish where I want it.
