Marijuana and testicular aching?

Sometimes when I smoke, I get this subtle but noticeable aching in my nuts, usually just my left lol. Sometimes I feel it in more of the groin area as well (again, usually left side). My cousin had something like this during summer but it seemed more major and after a few doctor's visits it was gone. I've googled this and seen a lot of similar posts but could never pinpoint an explanation or reasoning behind it. I know multiple studies have shown a link between marijuana and testicular cancer, but does anyone know why this happens to some guys?

do you have what i have, a varicocele?? it usually happens in the left nut, and it's like vericose veins in your scrotum.. mine can get extremely painful at times..
just look at your sac, being 100% serious here.. if the left nad is noticeably bigger, you may have the varicocele like i have and will probably need a surgery to fix it.. it's also been said that they can cause sterility if you let them go for too long as it will strangle the testicle and kill it in the process..

here's a pix of what to look for. not trying to be gross at all..

I had a physical less than a year ago and nothing was wrong. I can't think of it happening before I started smoking. I don't think I have a varicocele though.

My first guess would be "Blue Balls"......LOL

My second would be the beginning of a hernia, made worse by coughing (from smoking).

i don't think every guy has one, but i surely do.. have had it for years, but call me chicken shit and because i have a problem getting operated on my ball, lol.. for real for real there though..
and now i've been on ue for awhile and have no insurance, don't you know it's been bothering me more recently?? should knock on wood as it's been pretty good the last few weeks, but man, when it hurts, it hurts like hell.. feels like some one put me nut in a vice and is slowly tightening it, which pretty much is what is actually happening if you think about it.. the veins are slowly squeezing around that bad boy ... uggh..

Racer it sux. Grow some, er, can you overcome your fears and see a urologist? (Maybe a female one) OK, no joking matter. Just want folks to take care of things...it won't self-resolve.

grow some?? if it got any bigger, it'd be bouncing off me knees, lmao.. at least the left one that is.. :(

i know, i know, i need to get it fixed, been putting it off for about 20 years or so.. i'm sure the surgery isn't nearly as bad as i have it worked out to be in me head...
once i get back to working and get me some insurance, i'll get it taken care of.. thanks for the kind words and support though.. :D

I'm pretty sure I have those little varicose capillaries, which I think is what a varicocele is, in simple terms. My left side is covered with these little things that look like blood blisters. They don't seem to be sensitive or tender, but every once in a while I get testicular pain bad enough to send me to the ER. And speaking of that, while I'm not a doctor, I would say that ball pain ought to be treated rather seriously, based on the reception I get when I get to the hospital. I swear, you go into an ER complaining of sore balls and they'll get you in to see a doc sooner than if you show up with an arrow shot through your head. At least that's what happens every time I go in. Last time got a shot of Dilaudid, which I'm not sure I really needed. The nurses even offer to bring a nice warm towel or ice pack to rest your family jewels on while you're waiting on the exam table.

So, bottom line, don't try to be a macho man and ignore the pain if it is really bothering you. It could be a sign or something serious.

Is there any swelling at all? A few years ago i had whats called a hydrocele, for about a month i felt this pressure in my right nut sack it wasn't really painful it just felt like a bit of pressure in there i kept feeling it for like over a month trying to figure out if there was a difference between the two nuts about 2 weeks later it got so big i could not ignore it any more, so i went out to the hospital and they diagnosed it a hydrocele its basically just a passage between the abdomen that occasionally opens up and lets abdominal fluid into your nut sack it comes back a bit every once in a while but its nothing that serious, i guess its normal for men between 20-30 to have them.
