Can someone explain WTF I should vote for presidents.

Seriously... explain why my vote means anything to these 2 running.
Last I checked our vote for the pres.. means nothing.

Sure we get to vote in or out....for those who actually vote for us..(and HOPEFULLY they vote how the majority votes)


so why is so much money on BOTH sides wasted on PUBLIC opinion.


I seem to care less and less what person is in office as I age.. (stupid me actually wanted to go into politics (or law) as a younger lad.

Don't trust either party (my personal views are not rep'd by either party 100%)

so why do you(us) even give a rats ass what toolbar is running the show..

Each running pres has always wanted the best interest for the US.. duh..
Each running pres says shit they (either dont know 100% about) **you know they say stuff like I will close xxx base or no new taxes)and make promises based on what they were told as a running presidential canidate and then get the facts once they become presidential briefed on what is really going on.. (security clearance)

seems that those who have the money make the rules.. as it has always been.. now we have the illusion of choice..

perhaps I am jaded... perhaps I hit the nail on the head...

show me prove MY (our public pres vote matters)
 
cause people died so you could. its not a perfect system. just the best going all these years...in many, people like socialts, take over a place, and can stay in for ever. like cuba. and lots of others. why not try one of those, if u are unhappy here? why? cause if u talk like you and so many others do, agaisnt their own county, they would be jailed at the minimum, but usually shot, or beheaded. still hate your own country? it lets u piss on it all u want. maybe thats a reason to stay?? pot cures lots of ailments the number on on the list is AMBITION! what made us great. this is why, i will never vote for legalization. look what the legal alcohol has done for our society! and tobacco. why would i want to place another burden on it? awww! i know....but, im not a liberal. sorry. i love my country and the people overseas who protect it. when the day comes, that i let the liberal media brain wash me into talking sheet about her, i will be obligated to end my life......

I love my country and fear my government...
People have died doing for a lot less... so death is not the proof.


I am not saying another country is better... I just want the proof MY vote means a shit..

dont get offensive on the subject.. just prove your point.. attempts to sway me one way based on your personal feelings only sway those in your direct circle.

I love my country and that's has nothing to do with the current voting system... just by saying its better then another co means nothing as I live here..
 
You are right, your vote may not matter unless you live in a swing stste, but voting is your right. I do not believe the Dems care about how much debt we accumulate. I do not believe the GOP is in touch with many (most?) of the people.
GOP...no abortion....Dems...tax and spend....GOP fiscally responsible, except for the wars on the credit card...Dems...pandering to many people on the dole...I think the GOP will create more jobs simply because business is dragging it's feet because of Obamacare, which 60% of the people didn't want.
So if the Prez is re-elected and there is a GOP maj in the House and or senate...look for gridlock for another 4 years.
My $0.02 after taxes

lol @ the economy dragging for any other reason than lack of aggregate demand.

$0.10 more per pizza is not killing the economy.

You vote for the guy you think will select the most appropriate SCOTUS justices - sinple as that.

Add up the debt we accumulated under Reagan and Bush and you will see that Obama hasn't added nearly the amount of debt you think he has.

i agree that it is simple-minded to hold the false belief that the GOP is fiscally responsible and that $0.10 more per pizza is killing the economy.
 
Since you brought up the past...were you around when I was paying 16% interest on a house under Jimmy Carter? There is always rollover in cause of debt when administrations change...look what whoever replaces Obama will inherit?
