Hey peeps..
If PPM remains the same for two days (860)...and slight rise in PH (5.5-5.6)...and EC is low (1.2)
does this mean my plants aren't taking in nutes? I get mixed up even with the equipment..
Any help is appreciated..

No..not going down...ph is 5.5...
using technoflora...
Bluelab ppm pen..
18 gallon tote DWC
AND LEAVES CURLING UPWARD

Have you tried taking the ppm down and when I did hydro my shit worked best at 5.8ph

Sounds like maybe over fert.

no..i haven't..thanks..
plants about 23 days old
I use technaflora....started at about 50% strength
OH..and I just sent off yesterday for PH up...i won't do the baking soda..(not knocking it though)

so do u mean to empty out some of the water and replace with plain water? I use RO..ppm 0

Just took your advice..thanks..removed a few gallons and added a few plain RO..dropped ppm to 540..but PH still 5.5.

so how is the EC supposed to play in this?

Has the water level gone down over those two days? Not the PH, but the actual amount of water in the bucket, is the plant drinking any water?

leaves curling up is too much heat.
when water level goes down and nutes stay the same it is good.
when level goes down and ppm goes up it is too much nutes.

did not appear so..heat in room is 86..even with 4 in inline exhaust fan. thanks for answering

Anything over 85 should be at half of recommended dosage or better yet 3rd of it. Keep me below normal ppm range and gradually increase as plant responds.

Hey can you post any pictures? leaves curling is ussually heat. If your temps are 86 what's your res temp?

gotta figure out stupid phone camera..damn droid...res temp varies..between 73 and 65..I have to use damn bottle trick!

I suspect heat/light stress. The plant stomata (leaves breathing pores) have closed to stop the plant losing water in times of stress. That's why the plant isn't taking up water/nutes. I have the same problem in a new stealth grow.
Is there any sign of leaves yellowing between the veins yet?

Hey thanx for answering. Check INDOOR GROWING..youll see my pics...no yellowing..yet..doubtful its heat..400w but 18 inches away..oscilllating fan(s) and inline exhaust going too. Thanx and keep it coming. Be eZe
