I am trying to stay out of the partisan bs side of this debate since it appears liberals have a losing hand in this one, but that may change. To say, so far 'this or that liberals excuses' is a petty partisan scrap you're fighting for when one thing only is for certain, we don't know what the documents say so this is all speculation. I really don't care what happens to Holder aside from the hopes that we don't get Ashcroft back. It looks more like Obama is pulling the strings here rather than the GOP, so don't be surprised if the GOP is playing into a political plot to have them jack off in front of the media only to nut themselves short of the election. It is so high profile it just stinks of being purely political and not the least bit substantial. Like a high profile Trayvon Martin case, trade race for party.

I am getting all sorts of conflicting information, I see 400 guns, I see 1400 guns, for OWR. I see that they were tracked I see that some slipped "throught the cracks". What I don't see is intent to justify more stringent gun controls. There may have been all sorts of malfesence, there may be come criminal activity on the part of the U.S. but creating some purposeful assault on the 2nd amendment does not compute. If Obama is behind this very clever method of enhancing gun control - then he may not be half so stupid as the right claims. If he is doing such a thing, then why did he sign pro-gun lobby laws regarding carrying in Federal Parks and Amtrak?

You are correct. I am only guessing as to the gun control thing. But, I don't see any reason to rule it out as of yet, it's still a posibility. I am unaware of anything about the parks or Amtrak. Got any links concerning it? Unfortunately, most, if not all, of our media is biased. It's difficult to get an accurate accounting of any issue. The constant knee-jerk postings here are saddening. Sigh.

So far this is the best response I have heard yet, but it still doesn't answer the question. Regardless of the fact that it probably is a political ploy, we should stay on point and instead of bickering with each other demand to know what is going on with our government.

I can't see where it much matters if we do or do not have agreements with Mexcio, we have made incursions into other countries for years for a variety of reasons, why is this one so heinous?

Because of the MASSIVE death toll brought about by the well armed cartels. What's the death toll in Mexico? I've heard estimates as high as 40,000. The saddest part of it all is that the slaughter would be stopped overnight if we just repealed the anti-drug laws. The "War on Drugs" has been a monumental failure. The reason I started growing my own is that I do not wish to support the cartels.

Mind you, if we are blaming Obama for that dead agent then we are going to have to give him credit for killing Bin Laden, you folks can't have it both ways, either he is or he is not responsible for things that go on in his administration.

Not so much the dead agent, but the apparent cover up. I can not think of any president who would not have green lighted the killing of OBL, even Jimmy Carter would have done so. Obama has taken an active role in the apparent cover up, but merely watched the killing of OBL on closed circuit TV. The Watergate cover up was the Nixon scandal, not the actual burglary.
