You can try to divert all you want, I even listed a rebuttal to every upside of hydroton that you listed. Hell, I even explained why it's possibly less preferable to rocks in some respects/applications. Saying "nice grow" doesn't mean you get away with misinforming people. If you have some valid reasons why rocks won't work (Why hydroton is "something worth something" as you say.), I'd be more than happy to hear you out though. guys, different is just that. different. nothing wrong with it. pull your panties out and untwist them a bit. in hydro/aero/dwc actual medium is not needed.its more for support than anything.

Hey DJ ignore my post, just realized they were 12 / 12 from seed. By the way, your plants don't look like shit. This is the first person I've ever seen say that rocks are stupid for DWC lol. And I read tons of threads every day...almost every single guide I can find on hydro says that you can use various mediums. There will always be some fucktard who's judgmental against any opinion that's different from theirs, even when shown that they're wrong. You should be flattered that he's hanging around this long giving your thread so much attention. Sounds like a bonafide lame to me, and your new biggest cheerleader

i make it to harvest every 3 weeks, use no medium, and average 42+oz per harvest on 12 plants. i didnt know i was doing it wrong.

Yeah, but you still haven't actually stated why rocks don't work. There's nothing improper about them. I'd be willing to accept some reasons that hydroton is better than rocks for dwc. So far, you have failed to list anything though. You don't use facts, you state opinions. So far, the most you did to back up your claim is give a list of the upsides of hydroton, you didn't even contrast it with rocks. I then proceeded to list rebuttals to all of those upsides, in the defense of rock. You have yet to respond with anything refuting what I said. So no, you're being dumb. You're arguing something without providing evidence, which will get you nowhere.

Specifically says that you can use gravel. Can grow just fine in it and move up when you have more funds...just like going from CFLs to HPS. I have linked websites and you can google...you're just in denial if you think people have to use Hydroton to have a decent grow. Hydroton is actually pretty shitty compared to grow rocks. Again, you can google that, but it seems like you're just here to argue and be negative rather than learn anything so I'm sure you'll just post another base response to this. To suggest people only grow cannabis if they have money is misguided. MJ isn't just about getting high, it's also experiencing nature and using it's healing properties to be healthier mentally, spiritually, and even physically. Why would you not find a way to have that experience, especially upon discovering that almost anyone can do it with any budget? Some bud is better than no bud...have seen quite a few people use "ghetto" methods and pull 2-3 ounces. Lol I don't even know why I'm arguing with you...I guess it surprises me the extent to which a MJ grower can have their head up their ass... naturally expected them to be more open-minded than most people. Since I transplanted mine to just backyard soil outside, watered with well water, I only gave it nutes once, It has more than doubled in size. The soil has some good organic shit. There's a lot of worms, like turn over a piece and you'll see a few. No need to even dig down.
