One way or another, these computer systems allow you to keep a close eye on your property while you're away on travel. If a false alarm occurs, your neighbors won't have to wait until you get back from your holidays to turn the siren off!
you have your grandma there. whats more important. a blasted replacable plant or her.
you have to protect her first and formost. folks who ane sneeking in don't want Lights or Noise. set it for both. with a system like this you can use your cel phone or pager or pc.
you say you have a cam. set up a moniter so they can see them selfs being recorded.
and move any valuables temp. to an attic or somthing.
it sends a message do you really wanna see yourself doing this. with out involving outside folks you may not want involved. if you know what I mean. If you upset them to much just remember thay have somthing that can hert you to. they will have nothing to loose but there temper. You have way more.

u can go to the ( as seen on TV ) store ,, in most malls ,, they have a fake security camers that has a bright flashing red light ( activated from any solid motion) & the camera swivles 90 degreez both ways , when motion is activated ... its only 12$ LOL ,, it dont record , but it looks cool ... i bought 1 for the hell of it

Somebody a few pages back made a good point... if they know it's there, and they're amoral enough to rip you off, it's not inconceivable that they would just tip off the cops if they couldn't have it themselves. I know you've got a sweet setup, but it sounds like too many people (namely, anyobdy other than you and your grandma) know where you're growing. That's a possible prison term depending on where you live.
Not to sound all uptight or anything, I'd just hate to see somebody get busted because of some lowlife thieves.

The kid got sent to boarding school because he had behavior issues. He will be the first to tell you that he feels just like a part of our family. In fact our family are the only people he can contact outside of his family. And the security camera is because our neighborhood isn't as nice as it used to be. And it's my backyard, I'm going to grow what I like back there.

put a big ass fucking dog in the shed @ night. let him out during the day when someone is @ home to watch the shed a little or whatnot and to make sure the young ones are gonna be ok with the dog.

You have thieves trying to break into your things on your property, You associate with drug dealers in some manner no matter how small or un-serious, You have children and your grandma (i think u said your mom 2???) living right next to all that going on.....outside the same house next to the shed the guys been trying to break into or whatever.
