What Base Nutrient line are you running?

I run AN Sensi A+B or Flora Nova as a base nute.
I have run many brands, these are just the ones I prefer from experience.
I choose something that is easy to use and shows good results.

Yeah lots of growers I know love to run the Sensi A & B due to its simplicity

i got an awesome recipe of nutes for veg in soil it's simple cheap and so effective, i use CES base (grow, micro, bloom), plus cal-mag, plus silica blast... thats it... in flowering now with it just added a flower booster, and carboload. pretty simple... but ive done some trial and error and it works great.

I am also running nf nutrients in a soil coco mix its kinda strecthy on one strain and slower on the other strain, juries still out on this one...

And last but not least the ph perfect advanced nutrients base only in a few dwc bucket... i like thist stuff it really maintains ur ph for reals no gimmics, i can't wait til i start using the additives...

LV I may have answered this in another thread. I am really liking Hydroponic Research's Veg + BLOOM

I haven't tried it for veg yet, but am seeing excellent improvement over my DM Gold, which I was using up until the switch

It's a dry formula (avail for tap or RO). I am using only 1 tsp/g = 800 ppm. One pound is only $20

Ran the entire GO line with pretty good success and had a great first harvest. Supplemented with a few other things; Hi brix, great white for transplanting, and some Hygrozyme. Gonna have a batch of supersoil cooking up. I really liked the GO line. The Bio Bud by far is the stand out in that line up. All that said though, all those bottles make my head hurt. Gonna just let the soil do all the work now.

Dont make the soil to hot, excess nute/ferts can prolong the harvest & even cause male flowers to form..

I am using the entire Fox Farm lineup along with Great White, Ful-Power, and Hygrozyme.

From the sounds of this thread though, it sounds like I will be trying out a different set of nutes on my next run.

It sounds like you are using good additives, and FFarm isn't a bad line up when used right. If it ain't broke... don't fix it. But yah, if your looking to go full organics / veganics then of course you'll want to switch; )

Are you using the solubles and the bushmaster series?

I used general, and also some voodo juice at start, and had great exp. Siver Haze just under six feet. No issues and seemed cheaper.

Thanks. I am still learning though and will be trying out numerous alternatives in future grows.

I agree with the whole "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" thing, yet trialing all available products is a must for me. I'd like to maximize the strength and yield of my crops. With so much conflicting information in this industry the only option seems to be my own testing and results.

Yeah I am also using the solubles. Do you mean the Bush Doctor series? If so, yes.

Yeah I used that same whole.line. now I only use the solubles out of that. Try feeding.the solubles alone to the plant or just without your base nutrient. So.say feed once with the open sesame and maybe a liquid karma or cal mag. Then the next watering feed with your base. I have been getting.good.results using the solubles this way. Give it a try and see how you like it.

Thanks for the tip! I will likely add it in my to do list. Currently when I water, I do ONLY water. When I feed, I give all nutes (aside from Great White which I only add once every 3-4 weeks).

Why did you decide to stop using the rest of the line?

I switched my base to the for a while and now I use botanicare. I stopped using the grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom because I think they suck. The tiger bloom is OK nothing special. The grow big is the best one but has the same basic shit as all grow bases, but the big bloom is just watered down earth worm castings. IMO it is a huge rip off. They make you use huge amounts and even when you feed with full strength the ppm changes about 150-200 liquid karma kicks its ass. And I have use the bush doctor shit as well the two beneficial I forget the name are decent but I don't like to water in my beneficials I apply them directly to the roots when transplanting instead. You can do that with great white. I use zho and mykos which are a fraction of the price. And the flushing one is total garbage. I actually just gave away some ff stuff that I had lying around. The solubles are killer though all three of them work pretty well.
