What Base Nutrient line are you running?

I switched my base to the for a while and now I use botanicare. I stopped using the grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom because I think they suck. The tiger bloom is OK nothing special. The grow big is the best one but has the same basic shit as all grow bases, but the big bloom is just watered down earth worm castings. IMO it is a huge rip off. They make you use huge amounts and even when you feed with full strength the ppm changes about 150-200 liquid karma kicks its ass. And I have use the bush doctor shit as well the two beneficial I forget the name are decent but I don't like to water in my beneficials I apply them directly to the roots when transplanting instead. You can do that with great white. I use zho and mykos which are a fraction of the price. And the flushing one is total garbage. I actually just gave away some ff stuff that I had lying around. The solubles are killer though all three of them work pretty well.
I certainly hope your PPM wouldn't change when adding big bloom (considering it's suppposed to be organic). I have loaded a cup per gallon in to my feeding cycle before, but yah your right, it's Guano, and EWC, which are pretty damn good for the beginning of flower, but easily found in many other places.

Big Bloom is a pretty good product IMO...
But Im with Hacker, most organic nutrients can be found in other places for a fraction of the cost.

So far I've used advanced (sensi, iguana juice, bud candy, nirvana) , botanicare (pure blend, cns17, hydroplex, silica blast, liquid karma), roots organic (Buddha grow+ bloom, extreme serrine, trinity), General Organic (bio thrive grow+ bloom, bio weed, bio root, bio bud, bio marine and CalMag) and Canna (biovega + Flores, bio boost, Cannazyme, biorhizotonic) and IMO you get what you pay for. So far canna is my absolute favorite. Taste, density and overall smell, when using canna, was SURPERIOR. Got decent results with the other lines but nothing ccomparable to the meds I got when using canna.

Agreed I used General Hydroponics for a few years before making the switch to House and Garden and you can definitely tell the difference..

Canna is on my short list. Gotta muster up the will to shell out 500$ for a whole new line though.

Ran the entire GO line with pretty good success and had a great first harvest. Supplemented with a few other things; Hi brix, great white for transplanting, and some Hygrozyme. Gonna have a batch of supersoil cooking up. I really liked the GO line. The Bio Bud by far is the stand out in that line up. All that said though, all those bottles make my head hurt. Gonna just let the soil do all the work now.
Thanks for sharing, Im going to be doing homework on the additives since I plan on running the entire GO line. Thanks again. +reps

Of course! Anytime my man! Let me know if you have any other questions regarding the line, feeding, etc. I kept a very detailed grow journal throughout that grow so I can let you know at least what worked well for ME. Good luck man. Don't look into it too hard, after all, It's just a plant!!! :) Take care....

gonna give the no-till beds a run or two, then I might switch them up to veganic depending on my results.... I need 20-30 gallons of water per week... which is my limiting factor to splurging right now on it ;)

All this talk and no justification for why anything is better. I can say this botanicair intentionally leaves out lots of cal mag just so they can sell you
more. Canna is short on micro nutes also and is only good for coco. Advanced is just for the young and naive. Flora nova is the most complete by far
and has much higher levels of calcium magnesium and iron it contains all the micro and macro nutes.

Once you make the switch you won't be disappointed. It is a little heavy on the pockets, but IMO well worth it if you want that taste you have been searching for ;)

Floranova is a decent nutrient for a synthetic line. Advanced is on the same level and definitely not for young and naive people. People need to give it a rest, stop hating just because they have a great marketing plan. I don't blame them one bit.

To each their own. But all the nutrient lines are mentioned were great for the price. But IMO, the taste I was searching for, came out the most when using canna and was the best.

No its only for the young and naive I don't hate advanced for there marketing plan (which is definitely tiered towards the uneducated).
I just think people should become educated to what nutrients are in a product and disregard all marketing claims rather than buying
snake oil. Its well known advanced leaves out lots of essentials so they can sell you another product and to say its great for the price
is a joke. Farther more in your previous posts you state that with hydro nutes "you get what you pay for" is ridiculously naive at best.

Cool bruh :)

Ever hear of quality control? If every nutrient was the same, shouldn't they all be priced the same? You are obviously naive and/or uneducated. Please tell me the difference between botanicare and advanced? The reason some are more then others is simply because of where they are derived from. Also, how much research goes into producin that specific nutrient.

I am not siding with advanced, but you my friend need to open a book.

Anyone can used Advanced that is why its a solid product, both Beginners and Experts.... but from experience most gardeners will tell you that the harvest flavor is masked by a unmistakable AN taste.
I can distinguish the trace AN instantly and so can many others that I know who grow naturally.
When you get the potency down the next step is concentrating on flavor, very important as bird suggested.. IMO the trade off with AN is the taste, regardless of the flush time.
I would stack an organic/ veganic products against AN/ synthetics all day for overall quality. Organics take time and practice to make a proper plant solution and yield can be an issue for new users.
This is why AN is so great, it gives awesome yields to unseasoned growers...

Just FYI growing real medical-grade cannabis, not typical AZ bud, takes more than a one or two part solution, it does not matter who you are...
This does not mean AN cannot be your base...
Thriving Plants/ Growing Plants and Pretty Plants vs Tasty Plants are very different things.
Bag appeal is only one of the many factors to take in account when judging a quality strain.

I completely agree with this. Iguana juice is one of those distinct AN flavors you don't want. People out here in Arizona think if the bud gets you "high" it is considered top shelf...not the case anymore. To me, real medicine requires the amazing taste, smell and overall high you receive. IMHO, you can't achieve these things unless growing with high quality bases. Like I said before, you GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Unless of course you are making or amending your own sources. Which in this case it is a lot cheaper, but with the time and effort you put in, the question has to be asked, what is your time worth?

I think you would be hard-pressed to walk into a legitimate cultivation facility and find AN base products on the shelves, unless it was AZCS.....
But I said legit...

You are a mindless troll with little experience no common sense and probably a low IQ. I started growing in the early 80s making my own hydro set ups under halides before there were hydro stores and obviously have read a lot more than you. I currently run a drain to waste 8000 watt set up.
In fact the guaranteed analyses in advanced grow and bloom is so poor it doesn't even contain most of the essential micro elements. To top it off the gimps like fat Mike that brainwashed you and the other idiots with there advertisement bs like Rosefuck magazine use urea in there hydro formula. Even cheap nutes like Dyna grow ( a step below flora nova) are more complete. I don't have much time for you today but maybe you should look at Uncle Bens comparisons on these forums.
