Tree - You've got a harvest coming up in what, 25 days or so? Post some pics before you chop, I'd love to see what you can do.

AN Sensi, Day 45:

Peace, everyone!
Exactly, all leaf no bud same I got with my AN. Switch to DynaGro Line and watch the buds take off too not just sugar leafs. AN is great at put sugar leaves all over but giving them everything they need for big healthy buds not so much.

o my fuckin god! ok so the lights just came on i noticed the plants just got a huge growth spurt since yesterday when i switched back to the 2 part. i dont care what anyone says dyna gro is not touchin the 2 part/big bud combo. im glad i at least tested out another nute cause now i know how good the 2 part really is. if anyone really loves dyna gro i suggest you test out the 2 part and let use know the results you wont be sorry

Not many places carry it but you should try the advanced three part base. Micro grow bloom. it is better

o shit i didnt know that i thought that was just a way to customize the nutes more. could you explain why its better im curious to know? is this the JUNGLE JUICE everyone keeps talkin about i thought that was a knock off of general hydroponics?

I think you should atleast finish the grow before you make youre decision.
You don't have to read the whole book to know that Twilight SUCKS.

I've grown with a lot of nutes, and you don't have to finish the entire grow to know that some are better than others. Some are close enough that you can't call a winner until after drying and curing. But if he's satisfied that the Dyna-Gro isn't going to measure up I think that's just being observant.

To the question about AN's three part there are two types. First up there's the Jungle Juice. That's a direct copy of the GH Flora series. Advanced Nutrients didn't have any really cheap base nutes so they reverse-engineered GH's three part and, being AN, they found a way to make it better and cheaper than GH does.

Also, there's the Grow/Micro/Bloom 3 part they've made all along that's higher quality, better chelated, etc. It's what they've upgraded to the pH Perfect technology now. It costs more but once you've grown with that pH Perfect stuff it's kinda hard to go back. I use the Sensi 2-part pH Perfect and it is sheer awesome in a bottle. I'm going to run the Connoisseur pH Perfect next cycle to see how it's improved.

thanks for catching my back hugetom80s! if your used to using a certain nute and you try something else and the results are so different than it doesnt take a long time to make a judgement. a got a couple questions for you if you could help me out

1. what is the difference between the 2-part pH Perfect and the 3 part ph perfect are they identical except for the 3 part being more customizable or is the 3 part higher quality?

2. if i use the 3 part ph perfect can i keep my plants at the same ppm as now or do i have to dial in the plants again like when switching to connoisseur?

Tree- Just a heads up, hugetom, sensibowl, hook.on.phonics, motherhugger and aeroman are AN salesmen, not growers. If you have usage questions in regards to AN, ask a grower like Lordjin.

to be totally honest after trying out dg i will never give a shit about 16 elements again cause it didnt increase my yield at all. for all i know marijuana might not need alot of those elements
This statement alone speaks volumes on how much credence to put in your findings...or lack of.......

Hey Homebrewer. how do you know they are salesmen? Like, seriously they work for Advanced?

Got all my Dyna prducts in last week. Should have the grow ready to start in mid-late May. Gonna do the clones all the same till they are ready for light grow nutes. I soak 1.5" rockwool cubes in Clonex Cloning Solution. Use Clonex Gel for cuttings. Feed Thrive Alive B-1 Red with Superthrive. May try out some Hormex on the cuttings as well; got the tip from Hellraizer.

What are your thoughts on using Great White in a hydro setup? I'm back and forth on benes in a hydro environment. Lots of arguments on both sides. Some say that using them in straight hydro is just a waste because water is your medium. Any thoughts?

Check out their post history. No universal horticultural knowledge, no proof they've actually grow a plant, just the incessant plugging of their products.

If you're trying a product for the first time (in this case a new nutrient line), I'd skip anything like bennies which have the potential to affect your end result.

Thanks Homebrewer. I've looked into bennie teas cause they are supposed to stabilize pH. Got a good recipe from someone on here. Gonna try it out later on. I'll send you the link when I get the journal started.

I've run Great White a handful of times now trying to get results that are consistent enough to determine its worth. I've found that it has neither a positive nor negative affect on the pH stability of my res.

i'm using dynagro right now and am 25 days into flower, check these babies out!!
Thanks homebrewer! you initially gave me the info to make me take that initial leap. as a beginner grower i was almost sold on AN b/c of the hype the grow store guys spewed at me. you should see the look on their faces when I say just dynagro please, like I'm an idiot or something. clearly dyna gro works:
