Hey catt. Personally I'm not so sure that your seeds will prove to be feminized just because they are from a hermie. Does your research support the theory. I guess I figure if it was that easy to feminize seeds why not just stress your plants a little bit. It sure would be cheaper than buying feminized seeds And would negate the need for coloidial silver or whatever it is. It would be nice to know for certain But I just don't know. I have planted hermaphrodite seeds before and ended up with hermaphrodite plants. I think I may have to do more research. Rock on catt and keep it growing. Its a saturday night So why don't you keep those girls of yours under control for a change. Maybe a hobby instead of going out looking for a good time??? I am a little disappointed in my girls. I caught 1 of them wearing a cowboy hat and cowboy boots And 1 of the others now has their wallet chained to their stem. What's a parent to do?

I did a little bit of research on the seeds, however I was distraught at the time so I kinda took bits and pieces of what some peeps said and went with it. I'm pretty sure I didn't stress them, although I was listening to Madonna really loud one day when they were sleeping....lol. Maybe they didn't like that Is coloidial silver what they use to fem. seeds? interesting , i sure don't wanna get argyria :O I'm gonna try my next grow with em if I get enough mature ones because I love the way she grew. Nice and fat budlettes....she smells like lemonade. So far I have my Bittersweet (she's the REAL naughty one....bad influence on my other 2 girsl :O) And then there is Lady Bud...she was just soooo sweet and quiet, never really wanted for anything in her life....so sad how badly she's been influenced by her own sister. She smells just like a fresh slice of lime dipped in crushed graham crackers. And then there is Nitro....still smells like cherry turkey stuffing....(whatever that would smell like...lol) All 3 of them are now punished (no more food for them)...I am still very disappointed in them. And your girls sound like they could be on the path of being just as out of control.....LOL! Just be happy they aren't out whoring around with my 3 all hours of the night I need a bath.....calgon...take me AWAY

Instead of a stress induced hemerphadite gibberellic acid is another one , another okayed method is letting the plant overmature.(all plants will go hermie) then they harvest the pollen.
There is a risk of carrying on the trait(hermy) to the next plant but some say thats if you do it over a few generations. ie stressed for seed>grow>stressed for seed= more chance to produce a hermy
Anyways thats what I have read so I thought I would share. I have no experience to say whats best.

Hey Kronnix at this point ANY input helps.... Yeah.....my cherry stuffing girl is a very odd one indeed. That is really the only way I can explain what she smells like, like thanksgiving! I guess I'm just going to try my next grow with all of the seeds from Bittersweet. I'm gonna try an get about 8 of em in there should be interesting to see what happens.

I wouldn't use those seeds because they pretty much will be hermie for sure, because thats how they where produced by a hermie so for you to put all that love into them again and they will turn hermie, I would hate to see that.heartbreak again.

yeah me too...your prob. right Just don't have the dough right now for seeds...and I don't live in a state where there are any dispensaries yet Almost, maybe by July 2013 they will have one. I have like 100's of bagseeds and now the option to pull any seeds from the shorty (she is soooo awesome) It makes me just want to take that chance again vs my bagseed. Oh I don't know yet!!!

I have def. been considering it. Would be nice to know what I'm gro....I mean "collecting"...lol. Overwhelming choosing....so many different kind to choose from. I like the short bushy ones with fat colas like my bittersweet, she was much easier than the other 2 girls.

Oh yes, I really feel like a kid in the candy store, my collector items came wirhin 10 days both time, now the trick is which no one told me, is to wait til the first weekend of the month for the specials, but at least take a look around so it can tempt you a little, like it did me.

Hey catt. How is it growing. You and I are in the same boat!! It's not like we can run out and pick up a few sweet clones from the overstock department or just outright purchase decent seeds at a reasonable price. Were stuck in N.E.

I'm with the chief and am just a little worried that your going to plant Shorty's offspring and end up with a 95% male hermaphrodites. Sometime a hermie is 99% male and sometimes 99% female or anywhere in between. You just don't know and the chances that shorty's seeds will produce plants like shorty are pretty slim. It would really suck big time to put 12 weeks into plants that just are not going to do it for you. You would be better off just going with good bagseed again. Even if they are long growing Sativa's I think you would be happier.

I'm going to bite the bullet and buy 10 femmed seeds for outdoors next spring. I am also hoping that my goodbagseed X Master Kush cross produces some healthy seed. Won't be femmed, but what the hell. Right now I'm thinking Aurora or black indica but you are not kidding about choices!!! Far too many strains for me to make the right decision. I need short fast plants even for my outdoor situation. I got 4 out of 5 decent plants out of Nirvana which is OK on one hand and flushing a 10 spot down the hopper on the other.

Do some more research my friend cause I don't know chit but I would really hate for you to have a failed experiment. What's the story?? Your camera broken! Rock on sister. I'm thinking two weeks max for me and I am down to molasses only now. I might even get a decent yield if I'm lucky. Say hey to your dirty little girls for me.

That sounds like a FABULOUS assortment I saw the Chocolope and I have been looking for a chocolate strain my WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE!!!! I've heard amazing things about chocolate thai and I think that is a cross of some kind (just can't seem to get my hands on it). I'm not sure about the celery after taste..... though.....would go good with my cherry stuffing...lol!
