Air movement alone will cause evaporation even in 100 percent humidity
.DSCF1283.jpg This is a variable humidity and air exchange rig I put together for humidity control of the hardening off process for micropropagation. The humidifiers are humidistat controled. The humidistat is in the hardening chamber. I can vary the air exchanges by using one or more air lines (and or the pump control - that dial on the silver pod on the lower part of the picture) into the harding chamber. I expect it could be used for your fruiting chambers just as easily

So much to learn. I don't even know what that means!

Is the pressure cooker a must? I'll eventually get one anyway but I want to get this going asap!

Get a mirro 22 quart pressure cooker off ebay. Or if you live in the country go to estate sales or yard sales of really old people. You'll almost certainly find stuff for canning. My dad has several mirro canners and they're all pretty solid. And you'll want at least a 22 quart for canning quart jars of wbs or popcorn or whatever.

I have a sneeking suspicion that fairly soon, you may be glad you got yourself a pressure cooker, that other than your fungus endeavors, you might just want to perform things with tiny plants in mind and those things will involve that very same tool. You never know.

Thank you guys so much. I really appreciate you steering me in the right direction. I don't usually totally fuck things up but I seem to have a knack for finding the wrong way to do them.

I will definitely get the 22 quart cooker and skip the brf tek.

I will be checking out your micro prop methods canndo as I am interested in that as well.

Sorry God didn't mean to jack your thread but what a wealth of info!

Subd +rep for all

Do you use a shotgun fruiting chamber?? I always wondered if I put my chamber in my grow room if my plants would benefit from the co2 the shrooms expel.......
