Hey nitro i just thought of a few things after reading your pm,1st off your Panhead sounds sick,i'd love to see an old pan hit speeds like yours,my ole pan is pretty tired,best guess is that its got somewhere around 300,000 miles on her with a dozen or so rebuilds,that bike has seen 32 states,i keep as much stock as possible but its getting harder to scare up parts,i think next year is her last as my daily driver,after this past surgery i had i dont think i can kick her over anymore.
Ive got other hd's that dont see much asphalt,ive got an old iron head sporty,a buell lightning ( stroker ),a 1996 fatboy, a 2008 road king & a 1976-77 super glide that my youngest son wants badly,it was my 1st chopper i built,if his grade point average comes up a little he can have it.
Anyhow do you know anything about twin cam motors ? Im wanting to convert the twin cam in the road king from efi over to carburation & im not 100% sure about some things like fuel pump & wiring,im also wondering about lost throttle response with a carb.
I figured i might get lucky & score some info on that twin cam conversion.

Hey panhead....
I have been gone for a cupple days working....I have a late model 77 super glide also ...My panhead is a after market motor that I put together back in the 80s, It started off being a hot rod street bike...then I stripped it down and made a old school drag bike out of it....
I have not worked on any twin cam motors....Most of my experience is with the older model bikes before twin cam's.....I have always had good response with carbs....Not sure about switching from EFI to a carb.....I like carbs... but that is all I have been around...
I have thought about buying a new bike....maybe I would ride more if all I had to do is push the start button....
Any way thanks for dropping buy....

Hello wapow....
I have never had slime....but earlyer in this grow I had the begining of root rot....after about 2 weeks into veg all growth stoped...roots looked brown and wimpy and I was able to save them...with an h202 flush then I added some benny's and got rid of my old nutes that ended up contaminating my system...
I will not use nutes that have been hanging around for a few months anymore...I will only use fresh from now on....
I probably would of had slime if I would'nt of cought my rot problem in time....anyway that rot problem just set me back 2 or 3 weeks is all...

I guess our crops are on about the same schedule....I am just over 3 weeks into bloom....
I got to be santa today and let go of some of my inventory to family and friends.......I have a feeling I am going to have some overage here in about 4 or 5 weeks....

only thing i would have done differnt was top more and veg longer!!!
Hey Wlimb...
I really didn't top except for taking clones........but the clones I have been topping....I am going to have a lot better start with the next grow....
This grow I started with some little twigs and then had my rot problem.....I won't have to veg as long with this nexted grow as long as thing's go smoothly........ the plants should get bigger than they did this time.....plus In your honor my clones have 3 main stocks instead of 1 for this next go around....
