yeah hold on i have a thread i made when i my self was looking for those little light plug things..

ended up getting them at local walmart.

yeah i never could find an alcohol lamp locally (found some online) so originally i used a shot glass with some alcohol in it lit on fire, but BE SOOO CAREFUL, you dont want to spill fire every where in the middle of the process. lol

saw one the other day at a craft store though..

the extra fine spray mister, doesn't have to be extra fine, but i would look pretty hard for one any ways. the bigger the water drops less that stays in the air and more that lands on the mushies.
think they carry extra fine mister bottle on amazon, maybe find the brand name then look at local store for same brand.
Here's an extra-fine msiter :P http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&q=extra+fine+mister&gs_upl=576l3571l0l3763l17l13l0l0l0l0l483l3561l2-1.6.3l10l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&biw=1408&bih=915&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=6387920622436108418&sa=X&ei=DuZjTvSeIpS30AGC6eiJCg&ved=0CFAQ8wIwBg

What's the cheapest analog therm/hygrometer I can get, since my digital one won't work? I've found analog hygrometers for like $3, but no thermometer with it.

Here's a list of stuff I would need to do the complete process, am I missing anything?

Brown rice flower
8 Half-pint jars
Vermiculite
Perlite
Clear rubbermaid terrarium thing
Micropore tape
Alcohol lamp
Spore syringe 12cc's (enough for 8 jars?)

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Here's an alcohol lamp I made for about 50 cents. Just bought a jar of baby food, ate it (applesauce I believe, it was pretty good actually), then fashioned this in about 2min. Just make sure the wick stays snug. You don't want a burning wick falling down into a jar of highly flammable liquid. :)

I usually only put like 1/4" of alcohol in it for safety. You won't be burning it all that long, unless you are knocking up like 100 jars or something, so you really don't need all that much fuel.

I personally don't bother with micropore tape either. Just some foil over the top while you are cooking or pressure cooking (pc) the jars to keep any water from dripping in.

Also, if you have a blender or a coffee grinder, you can just buy brown rice for like 89 cents for lb bag and grind it yourself. A 1 lb bag usually works out to about 10 jars worth. It's a little cheaper than going to the health food store or where ever and buying brown rice flour (BRF).

Do I just use rubbing alcohol or isopropyl alcohol?

Sure can. Glad you like it!

I'm pretty sure isopropyl is rubbing alcohol. I usually spring for the 91% isopropyl they sell at the drug store. It works better in the lamp and it dries quicker. It also works great for cleaning resin out of pipes and bongs. I like products and equipment that can be used for more than one task. Not a big fan of unitaskers.

Well I've read that 1-1.5cc's is how much you should use per jar. The ones I'm getting are 12cc's.

Little clever tricks like this are what I refer to as "GEMS". =) I have a professional alcohol lamp but even for me, if it broke, this is very valuable knowledge!! +rep
