Only smoke. Goal is to always have weed, wanna be a self sufficient pot head
These have been my first solo grows. I just moved within the last couple years, before where i used to live me and a friend grew for years. He mostly did the growing but it was half my money invested in the setup and was there pretty much everyday. We really never got into scrog or lst to much, had a spare room so we were able to have a few plants going at the same time. Used HPS/MH. My friend had t5's setup but we switched to hps/mh.

After you harvest your plant you'll have enough to last you a long time =) Things huge.

Definitely, I'm either getting a 150 or 200 hps. Nothing bigger though because I don't plan on every changing my set-up for another year or two. I might make minor adjustments but nothing else.Make the leap to hps
Wow! Great work man! Plant looks awesome dude, so overall the hps Seems to be worth it. I was debating buying one an I think this just sold me. Cfl seem to do the job but when I'm at work For 12 hours my plant grows 2 inches an gets burned, SUCKS! Is there a big difference in heat?

. I have a whole in the top of my box where i let the hot air escape, with the cfls there was more heat coming out of it (box temps are the same 78-80 degrees). I'd say as a whole the 10x26w cfls were giving off more heat, that said, the hps definitely directs more heat at the plant, IMO thats what the plant wants, they are sun loving plants after all. I think if the hood was not available and i just had a 150w hps bulb hanging the hps would be the winner in the heat department. The coverage of the hps out weighs the heat issues by far. You don't know what your missing till you get one.
Might take some pics today. Vertical growth is slowing a bit and starting to produce more hairs, nothing very noticeable yet.
Still worrying about the nutes. I think i might just use what i have been using on them. My old plant by this point was already showing signs of deficiency. I think the 18gal bin is helping a lot. I also made some tea out of the bone meal i have sitting waiting for later stages of flower.
10" tall 2 1/2 weeks flower.

Could't figure out what was wrong with my camera, was taking really shitty pics. It was set to macro mode.
Here's some pics i took today. They will be flowering for awhile i think. 12 weeks sounds about right. In a few days the oldest will be 3 weeks into flower other 2 weeks.The tallest cola is 10 1/2". I will only let them grow to 24" then i will have to bend them out of the way. A lot of the tops look like they are starting to reduce leaf production, hopefully tops will start sprouting hairs in a week or so. If that's the case i think i will be able to keep them around the 24" mark.
I am really impressed how i have been able to limit their size so far.
A couple of the leaf tips are barely turning yellow. I think my soil has a mg problem. I think a epson salt flush a couple times through out their life should fix that. We'll see with this grow, if i continue to see problems with my backyard soil i will end up buying it from now on.

compared to how i grew my last plant it does seem kinda jedi'ish. I think ill always grow the same way from now on. using that bin and lsting the same way. Cant wait to see some buds!!!

Smoke some of the epson saltSo you are using a 18gal bin and only growing 1 plant at a time? I wonder if growing 1 monster IS better then growing multiple mediocre plants.
Cant really tell but there's two plants in there. I molded them together.
