Looking good and going strong, nice work.

That AW looks solid bro.

:leaf:
Thanks! It is indeed looking solid, in all forms of the word ;) Cant' wait to share the harvest & smoke report. Still mourning the BUKU a bit, but Albert is making it much easier ;)

I am pretty happy with the new CMH light so far. It seems to be growing the plants just as well as my AgroMax HPS was, while providing UV spectrum and all that is missing from the HPS. It really does seem like a little bit of sunlight right in my closet. The plants are definitely loving it too...the leaves are really reaching up for the light and soaking it all in.
I just hope i'm not giving myself cancer by spending time underneath it .....hehe.

my freebie burmese kush didnt germ...:-?
Awwww...sorry man ;( That sucks...at least you didn't have to pay for it or spend time nurturing it out to see it become a hermie. Don't be discouraged ....I'd still love to try another shot at it...just no more fem seeds for me.

So another week has passed and it's update time again ;) Thigns have been rockin & rollin. Fresh res change for all the girls today. I gotta say that I am extremely pleased with my decision to switch over to using the CMH bulb so far. The proof will be in the final result obviously, but there are definitely no signs that I've gone the wrong direction. The plants are loving it...the buds are big , with a very tight structure and compact. Plus, the plants will benefit from the UV light received...all in all, I think it's a win! I was hoping for a bit more heat reduction....but it's been about 3 degrees cooler than my old HPS bulb, so I will take it!

Started dialing back the nutes on the Albert Walker today. I used 1/2 of what I normally use and next week I will start flushing. She's lookin mighty fine..buds are plump and ripe and smelling exquisite.

OG 18:

The OG18 is starting to develop some very nice bud structure..you can see all the bud sites clearly and they are starting to fill out very well ;) A big difference from the last pic...it's grown about 6 inches taller and many white hairs are starting to develop.

Plants look great man! How far are you taking the AW?
I plan on taking the AW to 8/9 weeks. That's what I was told was the finish time by the nursery where I got the clone. Depending on my patience and what the plant is telling me, I'll let it go to the end of the 8th week, with a proper 2 weeks of flushing. However, it's possible that I'll decide to start flushing sooner...or I won't flush for the entire 2 weeks, hehe. Right now about 10% of the hairs are red and about the same % of tric's are turning from clear to cloudy. So I think about another 2 - 3 weeks seems about right.

Real nice bro alwaysgood to drop in here keep me motivated!!
Same here! I'll pop on over to your journal to get some inspiration as well. I took a clone of "heirloom bubba" and have it in soil right now. I'm using BlackGold all-purpose mixed with some vermiculite/pearlite and picked up some "Jacks Classic" nutes. Fingers crossed!

So, earlier I mentioned that I also had a cut of some "Chem Bubble" and some "Heirloom Bubba" that I picked up from the nursery. I put the Chem Bubble in some MG soil ( gonna use her as a mother ). When I got the clone it was tiny, and it had a very purple stem...I'm not sure what that means...but it's slowly recovering and starting to get greener and the stems are getting less "woody" and more green as well. Yay ;)

I put the Bubba in one of my hydro buckets and it's been doing great ;) Once the AW is done flowering in 2 weeks or so I will move her into it's spot.

I took a clone of the Bubba and after it sprouted some roots I decided to put it in some soil as well. However, I didn't have any more of the cheap MG soil, so I went out and got something slightly less cheap..hehe.

So here is what I'm using for my super-noob soil grow:
% = the ratios that I mixed them in

- Black Gold All Purpose Soil ( organic ) (50%)
- Vermiculite (20%)
- Pearlite ( 20%)
- Peat Moss (10%)

After it grows a bit in this little pot, I'm going to put it into a 5 gal. SmartPot for flowering. I plan on using Jacks Classic nutes..although I can just as well continue to use my GH nutes...who knows. I'd like to see how different the results will be with one grown in soil w/different nutes.

Here she is so far...not much to look at yet.

Albert Walker @7 weeks:

Started flushing the AW with plain water today...she's lookin great ;) Some very tight and solid buds. Smells outrageous when I squeeze them slightly...can't wait! Pics turned out a bit blurry this time...sorry.

OG18 @ 18 days flowering:
Now this stuff is growing extremely fast, and looks to be a great producer. The bud structure is tight so far, with big strong stalks...its awesome looking! The buds are starting to really show some frostiness already....not much smell yet.

Albert Walker Harvested! Woohooo ;) She finished up a bit quicker than expected, but that's fine. Final pics and a smoke report in about 10 days or so ;) Due to flowering the clone when it was very small, it's wet weight when harvested was ~120 grams.....so looking at about 3/4 of an oz or so when dried I'm guessing. Will keep me going for a month easy.

OG18 @25 DAYS FLOWER
She's lookin mighty fine! The smell is starting to really be noticeable now...and its a good thing! The buds are starting to really frost up something crazy :weed:

This is crazy especially since My BUKKU seeds popped and were all females. I finshed four and they all was pretty stable. Only one different pheno which was a shorter plant. The taller ones did seem to have a little bit more potency. But I yielded 3 ounces per plant. Im running it again in a scrog with og18 which I also finished with the BUKU.
