How do the dispensaries go about testing for flushed vs non-flushed? Genuinely interested, i know there are a couple which get tests done on the bud for THC levels but doesn't seem commonplace or to go any further than that.
They don't. They test for harshness and some ignorantly think it evidence of flush/non-flush, rather then a test for cure/non-cure.

As far as I know, only breeders test for THC levels. The test are too costly and the products move too quickly to warrant testing on every new batch that comes in.

Many do actually. Breeders who test theit strains are feeding you irrelevant numbers as environment plays a huge role in the final cannabinoid levels. Many dispensaries are now testing each batch and even offer testing to members of their collectives altho it is fairly costly. They test for everything from cannabinoid and terpenoid levels to pathogens and residual fertilizer salts.
Personally i wouldnt frequent any club that didnt test my medicine, but maybe thats just me. I wouldnt trust anything i didnt grow myself without theese tests >_<

mj books are good for people who know fuck all about growing, the real learning is when you put aside silly mj forum paradigms and do your OWN work and experimentation..

Mg will be fine if you know how to grow, there's a thread on here comparing mg and ffof... look it up.

Also, I haven't flushed any of my plants in over a year and my buds keep getting better.

I think Northern California may be a bit of an exception compared to most other medical communities. ;-)

the above average toker might be interested to see how certain terpenes create a different high, idk :) ill admit that for the majority it may not be relevant but for those of us who are health conscious or medical patients testing is nothing short of mandatory (in my eyes at least).

I believe the abov e average toker does not care much for terpinoid profiles as terpenes determine flavore, i believe. cannabinoid profiles such as cbd and thc may interest some. i think as far as smokers go it doesnt matter. but from a science point of view if a plant is 18.8 percent thc 0.7 percent cbd. i think i would want to know what else lies inside the resin heads to make up the other percentage and how they can benefit us.

mostly terpenoids and flavonoids. and aside from thc, most other cannabinoids are not very psychoactive - most arent at all actually. the terpenes are what actually alter the high, and even carry medicinal effects of their own. such as linalool, which makes certain strains much more sedative than others. or pinene, which speeds up onset and also acts as a bronchodialator :)

im just saying if u use a feeding chart u got to remember the m.g. soil adds nitro so keep that in mind, thats where i screwed up. i used foxfarm soil on 30 plants and forgot i used m.g. on 6 and they got a toxic level of n and got the claw because of the time release n it has. i dont understand why people gotta be assholes on here, its for learning i never said im pro im learning. some guys on here make me feel like f rui. instead of being cool and tring to help they cut u down. if there such good growers they should be in a good mood all day with all the good weed they have

i just got upset cause a friend told me the dispense wont by unflushed bud and i had several in m.g. time release soil. i hear so much info that is most likely 99% untrue, i went ahead and orderd a few grow books on amazon this morning so im not one of those people passing on false info. someone also told me they can tell the difference in taste between soil and hydro. any opinions on that????????????

Hope I did not make you feel that way. I agree there are some asses on here, but overall most are here to help.

Just ignore the others and they will go away.

Keep up the good work and look forward to talking to you.
