WHY WONT THEY STRETCH UP??? :(

I have been BATTLING these Wonder Woman clones since week 2 of veg man :(
It's just great looking, droopy, good looking, droopy, great looking, droopy, droopy, wtf :wall::wall:
AND its the 6th week of veg and the tallest one is 11inches, wtf again?
I was using a 400w MH until last Friday, now I have a 1000w dual arc hps/MH bulb and I was expecting them to just frickin shoot up once i got that on em and NO, they are just BUSHES, then leaves hang down and cover all the new stuff closer to the main stalk. SIGH..... :wall::wall: obviously my first damn grow, my buddy that supplied me with the clones has some too and his are like a foot and a half or more, and NOT drooping. and he cant tell me why its happening, doesnt help that he's an hour away either. SO YOU GUYS ARE MY ONLY HOPE!! PLEASE GUIDE ME TO THE GREEN!!

Just transplanted them from one gal to two gallon pots last wednesday. "supposed" to water today but my moisture meter says its moist/wet at the bottoms of all of them but the top halfs are pretty dry. not sure if i should go ahead and water or wait.
FF ocean forest
6.5 RO water with some cal-mag and super thrive
Flora Nova grow, floralicous, lil diamond nectar, lil superthrive, in nute water
was watering every other day in one gallon. Still trying to gauge how long to wait for two gallons?? suggestions would be nice :) today is day 3 fyi
1000w dual arc mh/hps 18/6
mist once a day

I just want them to be happy and healthy damnit lol Please Help!!

the fan leaves will reach up for the light tthen fall/ lift for the light/then fall/lift for the light/then fall.... they look alright to me or they could be in a lil shock from you transplanting them...thats my opinion tho :) will follow this to check up just in case :)

take a mental note on weight wise when the plant is dry then water with a gallon of water and let the access run out....then feel the weight again....take not of it in ur mind then adjust as the days go by...youll now after you feel it dry and wet...

by weight....by hand
roughly as light as it was (minus grown plant mass) before you watered it the very first time or so
then a bit more...you never want it that dry ever again
easier if you have a scale really

i also find that there are very few if any first time growers that are able to have perfect conditions start to finish that the plant requires to actually keep to it's "schedule"
so no worries...it looks like they might be doing just fine otherwise though for a first grow
they start to stretch out during flower too...they double or triple in size then

Ya i just started getting that down when i had them in the one gallon pots. Now all new again. At the end of the one gallons i was watering every other day. i just wish this was going a little smoother :( shits stressin me out man

Don't stress bud. You'll get it. The good news is I don't think you've got a serious issue on your hands. Looks like you're just not letting them get dry enough before watering again. I'd try adding another day in between waterings and see if that helps. Good luck! Be sure to post pics when they start budding. I really dig the taste and smell of wonder woman buds. Wonderful high as well.

no worrys man I just went threw this a few days ago with my ladys...i just let them get dry dry then soaked them....they actually perk up quite well when you let the soil dry up lol you have to be watching it daily tho but it helps dont do it all the time but once or twice threw out the grow will make it more hearty...like i said before they look wonderfull ....have you noticed how they rais and fall threw out the day???

if your really unsure just get something like a metal chopstick and stick it down at the middle of the pot and pull it out. If its wet wait a little. Overwatering is more of how often you water

I actually have one of those moisture meters. And yes, it does say moist like halfway and morely at the bottom where the new dirt is. I assume that the roots havent got there yet so it holds the moisture longer?

Good call man, thats kind of what i've been thinking but it's good to hear from others too! Question? My next water is supposed to be with nutes, is it going to be ok to let them get real dry like that and then "feed" with nutes? I read on one of these forums someone did that and he ended up having to flush em out or something like that i cant remember exactly.
ANd to answer your question, there have been maybe a few days in this last month where i was really like "wow" i could tell how they raised and fell. But mostly I get like (in the one gallons that is, so far) one really sweet looking day where they're just touching the sky, look great! then slowly they get all droopy, then i dont really notice much raising and falling at all :( then out of the blue ONE day BAM looking good, and its just been like that pretty much they're whole veg life so far. I dont doubt that i could and probably am overwatering (noob love)
I'll keep you guys posted with some new pics in a day or two. PLUS REP FOR U GUYS MAN I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU TAKING THE TIME TO SHARE SOME GREEN LOVE!!

Ya I also got 5 seedling Rasberry Cough in those dixie cups in my avatar pic, one NYC PD seedling, and two OG Kush clones :) :) I'm so excited man!! I just want to do this the absolute best i can. I wish I already had like ten years under my belt :)
You guys are awesome thanks a lot!!

chit NP lol and ya it really depends on what time you catch em at lol no dont let them dry out then do tht just use ur moisture stick and feel weight wise then feed half of recomended dosage then raise it next nute feed

Let the pots dry till very light. Stop misting it only encourages mold and rot. Keep the 1000w at least 3 feet away. And your friend kept the best clones and gave you the crap ones. The plants should be fine ,they look good and transplant again in 2 weeks or so.

ya i figured he did, effer lol... will raise the light. Right now its 2 feet away.. Hey thanks for posting man. +rep

Sounds like you might have learned a thing or two from your thread, have any new pics so we can see your progress?

I am in agreeance with everyone else on the over watering. Biggist Noob mistake, I know from experience. lol.

I find its better to go 2-5 days between watering or nuting to let the soil really dry out then drench it! Mine seem to love it. You actually want to be watering enough to see 20% run out the bottom of your bucket. But then letting it really dry out then continue agian.

Search the MIR = Make It Rain Technique.

nice dude! ya i'll check it out. Ya today is day 4 and i just looked at em then they are either the same or a lil droopier than the pics. Will they perk up once they dry up more or once I water em agian u think?

Have you checked the PH of your runoff? I would add dolomite lime to your soils if you aren't already.

They look hungry to me.

I did once when they were in the one gallons and it was 6.6. I'll check again on next water. Either today or tomorrow. I forget, what is dolamite lime for? I do add some cal mag to my regular water for soil.
