really, how old is your dog. who is going to win the arguement? cuz my human dad never wins the arguements around here.
what do u think about waiting to 1 year old like some one said prior. what does your girlfriend think.

Yeah dad loses arguements around here defying all logic, known physics and general common sense. Momma will most likely win that one as long as she works there. I keep delaying it, but I know my days are numbered. According to the stories I hear from the vet regarding the health issues, it's valid. In fact, her brother's dog had to have and emergency neuter at 10 because of his prostate.
My dog is 2 and a half. My opinion would be to wait to your pup is full grown if you want him big ...whenever that is.

The only REAL reason to keep them is for breeding. I had some fantasy I was going to keep this family line going in into perpetuity by breading them every time one reached 3 or 4, so we would never have to buy $2,000+pup again and just taking pick of the litter. Plus, in my biased opinion my english bully has one of the most handsome faces in the breed and is free of most of the defects in the breed. He's AKC and a Stud! I know she is going to want another down the road, but I don't know how practical my plan is and it's fighting the oh it's never going to happen arguement. My arguement is once they are gone...there are no options.

if you're going to breed, you should do all of the proper genetic testing. it would probably cost you quite a bit of money to get DNA tests and certify eyes & hips but it's worth the piece of mind. It's irresponsible to breed dogs without knowing their full medical. I would ask for the owner of the dog you breed him with to have full genetic testing done too. All you can do is try to breed healthy dogs but without testing, you could breed dogs that end up sick and cause a lot of heartache for a lot of people. They could also eventually end up in a shelter where they would be put to sleep. I think there are enough breeders out there, let the people showing breed. This country doesn't need any more backyard beeders.

yes your totally right. im not going to be breeded. my family doesnt know enough about stuff like that.
right now every one is leaning towards chopping my balls off. but their not sure when. do they wait for me to get a little older or do they do it now? thats the question on the table now. i dont know.

lol, female dogs, always spayed cause no bloody for me. BUT for real, think about what it would be like with giant swollen balls and the inability to jerk off... no bueno mang.

sir i agree, very devastating. the ability to not jerk off could ruin peoples lives. i think my owner for one would be devastated grately. but what do i know im a dog.
