You know something is dead wrong when you start calibrating your PH meter and the back up reads 4.0 and the new one reads 6.5

So I try calibrating the new one turns out it does not like the solution so I need to get a different one. So I use my backup meter and calibrate it. Check PH in ALL of my reservoirs and come to find out I have been missing the mark by 1.8! I read 4.0 on all my reservoirs and quickly added PH up I had a feeling that this is what was going on. Kicking myself in the arse for not getting the solution earlier but you live & learn. I hope the JH doesn't suffer too much. This AK48 has another 2 weeks before she is ready and I have no clue if she can make it that long.

I had the same problem with my Hanna Gro check I bought it used off Craigslist and it worked fine for a while then it took a dump on me .. i bought a new probe , calibration solution but nope still was being a jerk off to me. Turns out it was the computer so i had to buy a new one.. Anyways your plant should heal up with some TLC.

Turns out it was the computer so i had to buy a new one.. Anyways your plant should heal up with some TLC.

I opened the tent door and almost cried had to remove 5 fan leaves they were dead as a doornail and all shriveled up. I'll post pics soon

Yes sir. DWC responds very quick so just adjusted up to 5.8 from 4

Have been checkin in on this amazing grow throughout, and dude those AK's are MONSTERS lol i freakin love it i actually jus got 10 from nirvana and will be starting them this weekend.. BTW I currently have two bagseed from some Frekenstein smoke I had in 5gal DWC. I am gonna start a journal this weekend as well and I'll prob need some help from you and others along the way, thanks in advance man.

Thanks bro, very unhappy with the AK48 taste just not there like some of the other strains just keep that in mind very dense buds but for taste I would get something else. Great strain to use in a vaporizer or to use in cooking etc. Fun to get my feet wet again I quickly got 3-4 different strains to play with.

Yes very fun strain to grow, great yielder I have no complaints other than the taste...

New meter arrived today in the mail the one that replaced my original crapped out on me, the new meter has me right in the zone.

I did a reservoir change today, brought PPM's down to 650 for final few days before I flush. 60% cloudy, 20% amber, 20% clear

Going to try and get one more day of nutrients, backed the PPM's down from 900 to 650 yesterday. Tomorrow I plan on dropping all nutrients and going tap water of 250 for a day or two then pure R/O. Looks like I will be harvesting on Christmas

I am calling this the final day of nutrients. I will start the flushing process later tonight, I was hoping she would make it to Christmas but looks like she is losing so much and yellowing leaves near the bud sites now have me concerned so a few days of flushing with FloraKleen should expedite the process

Potency was there!

I just checked the trichs and we are 70% cloudy 25% amber 5% clear / cloudy (NO CLEAR TRICHS)

I started flushing. Will flush with tap water, 250 PPM for 2 days then switch to R/O water for last 2 days including the 36 hour darkness period she is ready now but I want to get some flushing in before I cut her down

u can slightly modify the taste sometimes if ur whats the word..diligent about it..ive used most citric fruits, the rinds er peels, takes time but it can help a lil bit. i just put a few peels in the glass and change em out usually daily for a week or 2, if ur not careful bad things can happen tho gotta really watch the humidity. im rambling but i hope maybe this makes some sense. peeaacce

Well you can see the wilting, a lot of dead leaves yellowing has started moving up towards the leaves near the buds so I am flushing now. Flushing with tap water 250 PPM & FloraKleen. Will change reservoir to R/O tomorrow & FloraKleen then just plain R/O for the last 36 hours of darkness.

EDIT: Was seriously confused, think I got it cleared up. Been lurking your thread for a while now love the set up and grats on your results man! Learned a lot of stuff from the back and forth between you and other growers here.
