i dont personally think its happening. MAYBE with some outdoor guerilla grows they might try to track, the ones with 80 plants that are each the size of a house.

Of course, everyone will say that it is 100% safe... but nothing, even birth control makes those claims 
Given the legal status, nobody can say it's absolutely safe, but for what we do here, and the limits of the law, it's safe. Just do some researching to see how many growing busts you can find that were found via internet means.... Only one that I know of, but he was basically saying "fuck the dea, come get me". In the end, its your decision how safe it is or not.

i like what gogrow had to say.. of course, nothing is 100% safe, but so long as one practices a lil common sense inlcuding no pictures of yourself in any manner, no identifying pix of your house or car and you cut your chances down considerably..

That may help, but an IP address is an IP address. It wouldn't be hard for them to find out who you are. Maybe I am just being super-paranoid, but this all just seems like a big bag of candy for Mr. Law to pick from.

as a mod here, I think the only way LEo could get your IP is with a court order for the whole site's info.... I think you're safe there.... also, if you're doing anything major enough to have the feds searching you via your IP address, you shouldnt be joining ANY forums

I guess you're right. I am just overly paranoid. I already have my design in my head and it is in no way big enough for anyone to care about.
Screw it, GOGROW you have swayed me. I'll stay and post and learn and bullshit with everyone else. This state has de-criminalized it anyway, so I guess the most I would get is a ticket for the small amount I would have.

I imagine that you are worried about the US government getting your IP address.
However, Rollitup is not in the US, and he will not cooperate with the US government.
Hope he is showing that love the the UK goverment aswell the "tosser's"
