just germed 8 new seeds...7 out of 8 sprouted so i just put those into cups and now its time to wait for them to grow. i'm probably about a week away from flowering also so things are starting to really pick up now. i think i have a female but i'm not entirely sure. just gonna have to wait and see

well there is alot of things going on right now with my big baby about to go into flower. which i kinda have a problem with that considering i only have one light fixture and recently got new seedlings to pop. any ideas would be much appreciated.

so the plant is starting to show signs of preflowers but its still to early to tell wheither its male or female. (please be female) and i don't think my lights are powerful enough to make it show its preflowers without flowering. it is really smelly though, has a real nice skunky smell to it. from what i can see on it though i'm leaning toward female.

about the seedlings: all 7 out of 7 sprouted so i am very excited about that. i was about to throw the 2 cups out because i saw nothing when i turned the lights on yesterday BAM there it is, sprouts.

so anyways here's the pics....please feel free to comment if you'd like.

P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME TODAY!!!

here we go....i started flowering 3 days ago so here is the first pics of the baby in flowering. i still can't tell if it's male or female yet but i would say i'm about 70-80% sure its a female. (maybe thats just wishful thinking) haha

well the seedlings are coming along nice also and you can defintily smell the plant when you open up the door. i don't have a fan in the flowering room i was thinking it might help better if there was some air circulating around in there. what do you guys think?

fresh air is always a plus,,, will circulate the smell and spread it around, making it much less extreme. babies look good, so does their dad, I mean mom, well atleast im 70-80% sure ;).

they look really good man. as long as there growing good and strong i would just keep the water and soil ph level in check and slowly introduce nutes after they grow awhile. but they look great. i did the same thing with growing out some bag seeds before i ordered some good seeds to get some experience. i also did ALOT of reading about growing marijuana and everything else. peace and happy token!

shadowhawk thanks for the comments!

i've already introduced nutes about 3 weeks ago. i would like to get some flowering nutes since i started the flowering process. i'm probably gonna wait atleast 3 or 4 more weeks before the seedlings get nutes. keep watching the thread and watching for more photos of the progress. its so exciting

haha ur bogus man callin it a dad, u know thats his only big one.

lol i'd say without being able to see preflowers, everything else about it looks female, short and bushy, short internode spaceing.

and btw man, ur grow looks great for first time, and low budget, that plant looks very healthy.

thanks for the comments danny...as more electricity i'm running 2 4 foot T8 floro's, 1 heater for the seedlings, and 4 26w CFLs. not to mention i have 5 other roommates so the electricity is pretty not an issure. from what i've read other people say on this forum my electricty bill is about the average as anyone else.

yo thanks for commenting on my journal i still need to update cuz i have 5 more small shitty plants, but yea man you can add more light the more the better, do you know what kind of cfl's you are using(the k value, like 2700k or 6500k or what) cuz 2700k is the best to use that is by accident all i used but they are supposed to be better

Oh man its creepy how my "bushy" looks so close to how your plant looks, from you last update though things look great very green, and VERY bushy, if its a female, your gonna get quite a bit of bud from that bro, good luck!

mvg, my 4 CFLs right now 2700k color temp. the 2700 is better for flowering and the 6500 is better for vegging. but i have also heard that a mixture of both is always better, just more of one kind depending on what stage your in.
