no "mate" I say they look like amanitas because of the white speckles and the reddish brown color coupled with the wide caps... there are many forms of amanita they're not all red.. anyways it was just an observation as there are many forms of psilocybe as well and I'm not an expert.


fun fact: the native population up here in ak and in parts of northeast siberia used to consume fly amanitas in a very unique way. whenever they came across them in the tundra as they are relatively rare there, they would have one man consume them, he would feel the effects of the muscarin, as well as the severe abdominal discomfort that comes with eating fly amanita, and after about 45 mins to an hour he would urinate into a special stone cup, that several other people could drink from, and get the effect of the muscarin, without the abdominal discomfort. this was they're only known drug until the introduction of alcohol by the white man. thats where I suspect things started to go downhill for they're culture...
