Real good to see man. Kinda sucked to hear about the cloudy water situation. Looks like u got it fixed tho. Ur new growth looks healthy.
Where are u keeping ur water levels now?
I always added about a capfull of hydrogen peroxide to my 5 gallon res n never had any problems with cloudy or stinky or slimey stuff on my roots.

There is 3 gallons of water in the rez now. Mixing a 2 gallon nute batch in 3 gallons of water tomorrow. Had to order the 3/4 hardware so I'll install the new set up when I change the nutes. I guess the roots hitting the nutes was too much for the plant. Took off pretty fast once i started to flush it.

Good call man. Prolly what needed to happen. Looking at the damage on ur leaf system i wouldnt be surprised with the wool being so wet and not really knowing what was going on with the PH in the Wool if u didnt get some type of lockout because of it. Maybe ur plants where just struggling to hard with the over watering. Maybe a little of both. Ive always tried to keep my water level on the bottom 2 thirds of the roots. Id do exactly what ur doing man. Once everything settles n ur fan leaves start grasping for lamp again they will be ready to eat again for sure. Good stuff.

Was planing on four planters but three will have more room. That air stone works awesome. It actually mixes the nutes in the rez. Got the 1/2 poly hose and stuff today but had to order the 3/4.

Be careful of bacterial growth in those setups. I've heard from other growers that they have to constantly watch it.

Jay got some stuff @ HydroHighway that keeps DWCs clean. He has got a 20 pot Ebb & Grow with eight 1000W Hortilux Super HPS bulbs in cool tubes. His set up was impressive and the cleanest I've ever seen. On each side of the room 20" down from the ceiling was a 18"x36" coal filter, 10" vortex fan and 4 1000w cool tubes. Anyway, he uses this stuff that allow him to run his Veg nutes for a full 3 weeks. He run his first batch of bloom nutes for 4 weeks. Changes it and runs it for another 4. Flushes for 10 days. He swears by it an uses it with them results. I'm getting some Thursday and will post what it is.

I have run the BC line for a few years, and have found a few interesting points. One, start out at 1/4 strength. You really do not need to use the full amount as noted on the new RFS. PPM early veg no higher than 400ppm. Mid to late veg you can bump it up to 700ppm if you know your system and what you are growing. Early flowering you can move up to 900 950 ppm, and add your bloom enhancer of choice. I have never strayed from the Technaflora Assome Blossom. Late flower pump it up to 1000 to 1300ppm before you start your flushing phase.I will also mention that I only use add backs now in DWC. I never change the res from start to finish. The only time I need to remove anything is prior to flush where I drain 3/4 of the system and run ph'd water with Sugar Daddy. Running your system this way will help keeping costs down and still provide you with healthy happy plants no matter what you grow.

Gonna put it on this plan tonight. It better work!!!

Almost complete Control Rez. Looks like I'm gonna be up grading to 3/4 drain lines. They need to drain back faster so I can turn the pump up for faster circulation.
