16th, 17th and 18th day from a seed!!! Still got some leaves that are lookin not the best??? Changed the Veg nutes...starting on the 2nd week of veg!!!

I once heard Growing DWC was like strapping a Supercharger on ur grow. Good stuff. N yea the damage already done to the leaves is irreversible but now that everything is back proper u should start seeing some real niice healthy growth almost glowing and they do beast up quick so watch out. Ive never Vegged longer than 4 weeks in my system. In DWC u will find u can veg for three weeks and most likely surpass ur strains max flower hieghts given by most breeders considering pheno types. Cant wait to c how this ends up.

After seeing some of the root balls on here...that pump will be done by next week. I'll probably leave it out when I change the nutes. Had two roots hangin yesterday, 24 hours later there is a lot more!!! I love DWC!!!

They will get choked out by a good, healthy root system.
You're gonna be scared for your air stones sometimes, as it is ! lmao
Each week is gonna have you amped.

This morning I went to check the plant out and was shocked. Some of the leaves were dry and looking wilted. I felt the rez and it was very warm. Looks like I'm gonna have to connect all the pots together @ the bottom with a control rez outside the the grow cabinet. If i were to pump from the control rez to the far pot, would that circulate good enough??? Or should I pump into each one??? I might upgrade to water coolers when I can, but I'm going to try using what I got for now. Would .5" Ebb&Grow stuff work good enough, or should I use .75" gromets, tube and barbed fittings???

Getting rid of the pump for the feeder tubes would bring your res temps down some. It's completely unneccessary in dwc anyway. I would definitely ditch it asap.

It has not ran for a couple days now. I'll remove tonight...matter of fact it's 6:00...lights are on. I need to go see how it looks.

dude if your going to connect those buckets heres what you will need to rember,if your going to pump into the first bucket and have that flow into the next bucket and so on make sure that you have a larger hose going out than you do going in and a ball valve to control the flow,I learned this the hard way,now I have 1/2 out of the res into my first bucket with a ball valve to control the flow and 3/4 and 1/2 lines going to the rest of the buckets and back to the res,it did work with all 1/2 lines but the flow was not fast enough for me so I added the 3/4, so it may work just fine with the 1/2 in and 3/4 out,I just left the 1/2 lines because I already had them in and didnt want to waste the barbed fittings and gromets,lowes has grommets up to 1'' but there pricey I also have my buckets wrapped in silver backed 2 1/2 insulation to help maintain steady temps hope this helps if you decide to link them togeather you can also set it up to pump out the buckets and res for changing your nutes or flushing,do your nutes have a bad smell?if not is your hydroton making your water cloudy just a thought on that issue I use small pea gravel it doesnt break down and its easy to clean and reuse. hope this helps good luck

you can put frozen water bottles in the buckets to keep the temps down until you get your set up done,also look for a cheap indoor out door temp and humidity senser put the outside senser in your res or bucket now you have water temp,indoor temp and humid. all in 1,I got 1 at ace hardware for 11 dollars,you need to keep the temp between 60 and 70 at the highest and try to get something for the top of your bucket to reflect the heat,anything white will do but I like to make covers with mylar on them. get those roots cooled down or else you will have nothing but problems.good luck

This is how I'm going to do this now. 132GPH Pumps through 1/2 tube. 3/4 on the return lines. Three air pumps and six Oxy air stones. The control rez outside the grow area will have four 20oz frozen water bottles placed in it just before the light comes on. That should take care of the heat issue.

have you seen an under current system yet? its an awsome set up,that is my new goal,Im going to run what I got for now but Im going to start building one of those systems.I cant see paying 700 dollars plus for some pipe and buckets.I will stick to DIY

If reservoir temps are a problem , use a cooler they sale for like 18 bones at Lowe's or Home Depot. I run six 5 gal coolers and my res water stays 65-69 degrees for 7 days or until I do a res change.Set up (3).jpgCooler (4).jpg
