Ok so here she is , ive been working on a lil nute burn and some other trouble but she still growing and starting to feel out real well the pics dont do her justice cant get great pic's of the bud sights because the interior part of the plant is so leafy at the stock so for now these will have to do...peace

Nah she's fine brother, told ya she was a nute hog. Not much burning as far as I can see. I'm still trying to figure out whats causing a calcium lockout in my Ice. Steamed bone meal helps quite a bit....18% calcium. What does she smell like? Seems to be moving along quite nicely, remind me how many days since you switched to 12/12.

Whats up HL thanks for the vote of confidence this plant is the strangest one ive grown yet, started out with a bang and the took forever to show sex i dont know about the girl she hardly has any srystals at all so far.You can see them under scope ok but not with the naked eye.Im not sure about the calcium thing bro wish i did itt may be my trouble as well she's not a very strong smeller right now but it is noticible..I switched 12/12 on the 15th of august i think and she didnt show sex until about the 29th 30 th thereabouts..

Here is the latest update from Ice cental, looked in on the girl today and she looks just fine lots of the leaves are falling off and the others are browning a lil faster then i would like but over all she's doing well sights starting to fatten up some..I'll post pics next tuesday when i go back in to water her..

Hey all, hows it grow'n? i hope all is well so i got my new beans in the mail today and im very excited about it i got a variety of strains thanks to the tude!! and i could not wait to get them in germ..Since the Ice im doing now only have like 4 more weeks left to go these should be just about ready to go 12/12 when i harvest the others and be ready for a nice xmas treat yes it close enough to start talking xmas smoke...So here is the line-up im germing 5x Purple Kush Reg..2x Strawberry Blue Fem... And 1x Sweet Deep Grapefruit Fem..as soon as they are germed popped and sprouted in soil i'll start a journal for them..So if you are here i hope you'll be there for this journey should be fun....

so heres the lone scrongy girl of the bunch not much to look at but its smokeable in a few weeks looks like ill get about an ounce off it since i dont have any healthy leaves anywhere i'll flush and finish her over the next two weeks...

Looks like she passed out looking for nutrients at the end. I always say don't starve your plants at the end. They'll use their fan leaves to photosynthesize right until harvest. Not sure if that's the case with your plants, just thought I'd chip in.

Hey great call MB and ive been stressing for the whole grow how nitrogen greedy these Ice plants are i gave nitro all the way up untill the last few weeks and as soon as i stopped this is what happened as for the other nutes they were fed very well so its not from the other nutes but moreso nitrogen as i was warned about with ths strain...

(World of Seeds) huh? I looked up on them before. Isn't that the same as (single seed centre). Isn't it illegal to order. You diddnt get caught. See I looked forward to ordering and allmost ordered some Super skunk seeds but even if it came in for you I doubt they would come in for me seeing as how Texas likes to lock up most there citizens. Stupid Texas. lol

Yeah I hate it. Imagine if things were different for you and you lived here instead of there. You did the exact same thing your doing now and all of a sudden your put in the pen, years taken off your life, loads of cash taken weekly and your treated like shit. Its funny how you can live in the same country and something such as a plant is treated so differently from place to place with in that country. Texas is like Louisiana on pot. They will F**k your life up over it. Thats why I am waiting to move to California where I don't have to worry about stuff like that. Even though your Ice plants didn't work out to well like you wanted to they still looked great. Doesn't that strain have White Rhino genetics in its heritage?

Sweet, I didn't realize there were a handful of other guys growing Ice, here. Looks great, man. I just started my first journal here, recently, with 5 Nirvana Ice fems, 1 DNA Rocklock freebie, and 2 Crystal clones that I've been cloning for almost a year now. They're a week into 12/12 atm, and looking pretty good. Check out my link, if ya get some spare time.


P.S. How's the Ice for potency? The guy who recommended it to me, was someone that grew pro for years, and said that it was his favorite strain, and highly recommended it. He said it had the best combo of potency, yield, quick harvest time, vigor, etc..... Any comments?

EDIT: I should add that he quit growing a few years(mid-2000's) after Ice won the 1998 Cannabis Cup, and could give comment on any of the newer strains. They're always selective-breeding for "bigger, better, faster,... ", and always improving.

Wow man, loved the link. It pretty much confirmed everything I'd been anticipating. I noticed that you've had slow cloning times, and somewhat airy buds. Did you get that sorted out? I know for sure that it's not an airy strain, and a great producer. I also just had rooting times of 6 days. I'm not dissing ya, in any way. Just asking if you got things fine-tuned yet? Thanks again.

Most importantly, I'm happy to hear that it's potent as hell, and a true 8 week strain. My buddies and I, are going to love that, compared to the shitty dirtweed around these parts. *drools*lol
