what he said ^^^^^ Iam5toned is experienced and knows what he is doing
Maybe so, but pictures from a tour of a hydroponic garden don't mean shit. And fan leaves dropping early in flowering because of genetics? Come on Riddle, we both know much better.

Keep em green ?? Right???

LMAO.. nicely put Rocky! nice..

Don't you just love some of these people that come around here.. acting like they know it all?? LOL.. it cracks me up.

anyhow, I like the KC Brains Mango & Jacks Classic.. just beautiful!! well done my friend.. well done. ;)

peace.
Thanks brother, I appreciate you peeking in at the journal. It won't be done in 42 days, so don't get your hopes up !

The fact that we grow a bit differently does not detract from his experience

i do not have 'nute issues' the strain in the pic is The Pure, by flying dutchmen, which is a nute hog, and drops all its fans early into flowering, regardless of how well you dial in your op. its genetics.... however to give you the benefit of the doubt, i will say i did need more cal-mag, some buffering was in porder for that batch of soil; also my hotsoil is so 'hot', it tends to have a tendency to really drop the ph at the end of the cycle... but its ok, i stress my plants like that on purpose. yeah, on purpose....... /QUOTE]

This is all I was disagreeing with, I don't know it all, but I've learned this to be bullshit, just from your threads alone, Riddleme.

Read his grow journal to understand what he's doing. He knows his shit. He's one of those on here that's in my "UB & Guru's" folder. Show some respect guys.

OK, well this guy has had a look and he still doesn't understand it. Neither do I.

Which grow diary for Iam5stoned shows a successful 42 day 12/12 from seed harvest? I looked through one of of his journals and saw 12/12 from seed but it wasn't done anywhere close to 42 days. I have done 12/12 from seed before, for multiple indica dominant strains, and haven't seen anything that short.

I just want to see the process from start to finish.
Somebody knowing their shit wouldn't claim that it's genetics that made his fan leaves fall off... then in another post it was the fault of too much blood meal. This is what classes as a grow guru? I'm shocked and stunned.

plenty of voices saying he knows his shit, yet none to clarify exactly what it is he's talking about. None of you know either... it's not in his journal. 42 days from seed to weed, with a 3 week veg'... all i want him to do is explain what he means. or anyone to do it for him, it's all in his journal right? then you should know.

I read through most of his thread he has in his sig. The one he started in March. Here is what he said at the end of his seed harvest:

thanks man!
im excited to get it cranked up. its roughly 10 weeks from seeds being soaked to harvest. not too shabby for soil at all.
Which I can believe, because that gives you three weeks of veg time, roughly 7 weeks of flower time and then you are out.

Here is a link to his photo recap. The part I quoted is on the following page.

https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/311480-perpetual-dual-cab-400x250w-mh-9.html#post4183340

I'm not trying to stir things up, I just want to see these 42 day harvest plants if someone has them. Its not easy to tell from photos, but personally I think most plants could stand to go longer than 42 days. How ripe are they when they are cut? Do they even have any amber trichomes at 42 days?

That's exactly what i thought it was... not even worth mentioning. we already know strains can flower in 42 days. afghanis especially can be taken as early as 6 weeks because they are so strong. still better to leave them for 7 weeks though minimum imo.

Anybody can grow weed in 42 days... If it is ready to be harvested is a completely different matter.

Prof MJ himself said he takes clones AND VEGES THEM for a period of time (15 days if I remember correctly). Now, you can call it cloning or you can call it vegging but you cant start the count at day 16... So, if it takes 15 days to let the clones set good roots then we are talking about 58 days which is completely doable...

At the beginning of the thread he said that he starts flowering at 2 inches tall. Two or three pages ago he said he flowers at 3" tall. He also said he uses pure Indicas, and that he trims the bottom 1/3rd of the plant.

I think he leaves the clones in the cloner for 15 days to establish roots and move them over. I don't consider that solid veg growth at all. He also said he flowers 50 plants or so under 2000 or 3000w of light.

I have never, not once, seen an indica that will grow from 2" or 3" and finish tall enough that it can support 3 ounces of properly ripened cannabis in 42 days.

If this can happen lets see it. It means that some breeder has created a strain that can practically overgrow the world. If its as easy as what he says then why wouldn't all the other talented growers in the world have figured it out?

I'm not going to believe this until I see photographic proof. I want a clone with a permenant label attached, like a zip strip or something sealed. I want that plant to be stationed next to a ruler, to verify that it is only 2" or 3" on day 1, and then I want one pic per day showing growth, and chopped at all costs on day 43.

I realize that is a specific and complicated list of demands, but if you make extraordinary claims such as these you need to have some solid proof.

growing " the gift " from clone. 45 day flowering period... after vegging. usually dont pull more than 2 ozs off a plant. quick vegging, quick flowering, good yield. great to start from clone if u want fast results!

I don't think that's asking too much. If you could do it, wouldn't you want to come on here and make everyone eat their words?

I don't think we will ever see it though.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have some pretty fast flowering plants too. I don't doubt that you can get 45 day flowering plants. I just think you aren't going to get 3 ounces a plant when you start with a 2 inch clone. How much do you veg before flower?

Glad to see somebody else keeping a track of the facts. I grow SoG, done it in hydro and mainly coco. so not so good for the yields with coco obviously. But there is no way, it's genetically impossible, for an indica to stretch even 5 times it's height, without stretching too much at the nodes and losing weight anyway.

I think the prof is used to marketing himself. knows how the game works. Uses catchphrases like seed to weed in 42 days, 3oz per plant, 2grams per watt. as we've seen it does work with a lot of people. People will fall over themselves to pay for the key to success.

When really all he's actually selling is information that is freely available on the web. most people that pay will pick up a few tips and probably think it money well spent.

fair play to him... i don't really care. but it is what it is.
