hey fdd, need an answer if ya know. I have 40 plants bout 2 weeks into flowering. there are only 4 that are showing no sign of sex, but the rest that I find it hard to beleive are female, show pistils coming from the flowers, and some under the flowers. so my question is can male plants grow pistals from the flowers like females
Its my first grow, and my first time sexing, so all I have to go by are some crumby links and photos online

Man, not to bust your balls or anything......but. If you are making a first grow of 40 plants and cant tell the difference between male and female, you did something wrong somewhere along the line. I am on my FIRST successful grow, and I have yet to actually see a male plant. So, common sense tells me that if all I have ever seen with my own eyes is female, then a male will certainly stand out when I eventually come across one, so no big deal in spotting a male for me. I am sure it will be obvious.

I love your enthusiasm, we all do... but man you are not ready to be growing 40 plants if your asking how to tell male from female. Thats like a dog breeder not knowing if they have a male or female dog. Come on, research a little more, I am still stuck on growing 2 plants at a time. Thats just me, I want to learn the science behind it, yields will come when I master the plants environment. Its not a get rich quick scheme here. If your gonna do it, do it right. Learn the plant.

pics would help a lot, generaly i dont think males grow pistils, males grow balls(pollen sacks), hermies grow both

i agree with rkm thou, slow down, if its your first grow you musta really jump in head first with 40 plants, what kinda setup you have?
