Seeds Arrived
March 7th, Sunday PM:
1 x VK , 1 x BR placed in water.
March 8th, Monday PM:
Both seeds dropped - pic couple posts back
Avg temp at night in grow room is 74
March 10th, Wednesday PM:
Seeds show tap roots under rockwool surface
Cold front kicked in
March 13th, Saturday PM:
Both seeds have tap root in same exact position
Avg temp at night inside room has been 67
Turned off MH, and put in CFLs very close to cause heat at soil and rockwool surfaces.
March 16th, Tuesday PM:
Violator Kush Broke Surface as a healthy sprout
No sign of the Black Russian yet
March 18th, Thursday PM:
Checked in on Black Russian, a coil has formed as the tap root.
See couple posts back for pics and info.
VK is now 1/2 inch and healthy
PPM - During Entire Log so far at 50 (Trace minerals)
PH - Fluctuating between 5.5 and 7...not too strict about it since im using RO right now and nothing else..but should I be?
Conclusion: At the moment I believe that the cold front caused the delay in proper germination leading to a 10 day+ wait time for any seedling to break the surface.

Control Panel Cleanup
Went ahead and revamped the control board regarding wiring, power strips, and ballast placement.
Left Side:
2 4Port G&H Air Pumps - 1 for each room.
Inside/Outside Thermometer & Outside Hygrometer for 400w Room
UPS Power Strip
Fan Power STrip for Fan Control by Plant Pro for 600w Room
Center:
Plant Pro - This regulates CO2, Fans, Water Pump, and Light for 600w Room
Right:
400w Ballast
600w Ballast
4 Power Outlets Total
Temp Control Boxes - These shutoff power to lights of temp goes over desired level.
PWX-1 - This is used to keep my light off of same breaker as plant pro control panel.
Got a small 6" air king there off to far right putting some cool on those electronic ballasts...not really needed but a precaution I suppose.

Is Starting on its first true set of leaves. Moved into larger rockwool cube already.
Moved into the 600w room already, lets get this shit started.
Will have picks of new home soon!
Black Russian - New seed was put in water and paper towel only two days ago. Today it already have cracked and grown a tail, I put her in rockwool and set her up in the eco grower.
Will have picks soon!
WW in soil is about to sprout I am thinking.

Hmmm is there a story behind how you managed to get those?
That is badass CK, how old are they now? I have had luck up to two years out with seeds, have never tried anything further...they just seem to take longer to germinate but they get there! Cant wait to hear about them in a journal of yours.

Age is hard to know. I picked them up sometime in 2006 or 7 when I was on deployment to the area. They havent been well stored...inside a shell casing with an MRE bag stuffed in the top. Inside a jacket pocket, inside a trunk with a bunch of other crap. I just hope I can get em to germ.

Hey Fred, just wanted to say I'm a big fan of your grow journal so far, im suprised at how nice your format is, most people just write and dont look into font and spacing and all that other stuff, you do (probably because your an IT Tech person). I'm a noob too, but I don't even know how to grow yet. I'm just learning right now and reading the marijuana grow bible. Your journal is actually one I can understand right now. Most of the threads I read have lot's of terms I don't know or talk about things I haven't learned yet. By the way, how is the Black Russian doing?
