I am thinking of getting the SH Multi spectrum kit. I was thinking this because you can mix up your types of lights. Anybody used these and are they really good for growing?

Sounds weird. Metal halide or t5 for veg and hps for flower. Bottom line for best indoor results!

Includes a total of five 105 watt light bulbs; two 30K Spirals, two 65K Spirals, and one 50K Tube style bulb. Can be set up to be used for both the pure vegetative and the pure flowering configurations.

I am getting the deluxe package so would the Two 65K Spirals and one 50K Tube style bulb be enough to Veg 4-6 plants and would the Two 30K Spirals and one 50K Tube style bulb be enough for flowering?

heres more what it says about them The multi spectrum lighting system supports both vegetative growth and flowering phases. Emitting an unbelievable 15,000 LUMENS, the Multi Spectrum Light Bank takes CFL lighting to new levels. These lights compete with HPS setups because they can be placed so much closer to the plants.

do yourself a favor and stay away from the SH assembled package...i bought it and felt supremely ripped off. Assemble your setup in pieces, and you will not only have better components, but you will gain a better knowledge of what ur plant needs.

:peace:out.

for sure home boy. Good luck and may your crop be fat!

Well after doing all my research i have finally decided what system I am going with.
400W HPS Ecostar Bubbleponics™ Kit
with upgrade ballast to MH/HPS Switchable plus add a 400W MH bulb
I am going to get a Large BudBox Grow Tent (100cm x 100cm x 200cm) i don't know if this is to big for one bubbleponic kit i want my plants to get as much light as possible. Also I'm still not sure about Ventilation. i know ill be buying a few rotating fans. But is it necessary for only 1 400w light to have ventilation and carbon filter.

400 watters get pretty hot. I would definately make it air cooled if at all possible. If you cant make it aircooled then you need a pretty powerful exhaust with lots of intake. The carbon filter is for smell. If your not worried about smell then ditch the carbon filter and use a medium speed exhaust. If worried about smell then get a higher cfm exhaust fan so it can compensate for the flow through the filter. I highly recommend the cooltube reflectors they are great for sealing off your light from the grow area. I use a 430 watt agrosun bulb with cooltube and a regular 6 inch inline duct fan to cool the light. For exhaust i use a 4"x20" phat filter and a 265 cfm hydrofarm blower. No smell, no heat, no problems.

LOL MY HEAD IS SPINNING + Rep ive been looking at fans and i looked at all the stuff u told me but do these things come with the ducting so i can attach to top of my grow tent or do i buy ducting seperate im a real noob to this ventilation thing thats why i was gonna try to avoid it

I found a complete one put together would this work for me http://www.hydroponics-hydroponics.com/pd-100mm-ventilation-kit.cfm

thats a good find. now get a reflector to match and u will be set for ventilation. If you want to seal the relfector off from the enviroment then you will need another fan for it, but that is up to you. With that you can run it like this: filter.... duct...reflector....duct....exhaust fan. That is how i had mine setup to start with, but i am planning on adding co2 eventually so i got the cooltube and sealed it off from the room.

150mm Ventilation Kit comes with Kit includes: Fan, Filter, Ducting, Fan Bracket & 2x Connecting Clips
