Sounds weird. Metal halide or t5 for veg and hps for flower. Bottom line for best indoor results!I am thinking of getting the SH Multi spectrum kit. I was thinking this because you can mix up your types of lights. Anybody used these and are they really good for growing?

for sure home boy. Good luck and may your crop be fat!For the ultimate setup possible. Includes a total of five 105 watt light bulbs; two 30K Spirals, two 65K Spirals, and one 50K Tube style bulb. Can be set up to be used for both the pure vegetative and the pure flowering configurations.
I am getting the deluxe package so would the Two 65K Spirals and one 50K Tube style bulb be enough to Veg 4-6 plants and would the Two 30K Spirals and one 50K Tube style bulb be enough for flowering?

No problem thats what were here for bro.Hell yea thanks for the info +Rep and look out 4 my first grow journal soon thanks bro
400 watters get pretty hot. I would definately make it air cooled if at all possible. If you cant make it aircooled then you need a pretty powerful exhaust with lots of intake. The carbon filter is for smell. If your not worried about smell then ditch the carbon filter and use a medium speed exhaust. If worried about smell then get a higher cfm exhaust fan so it can compensate for the flow through the filter. I highly recommend the cooltube reflectors they are great for sealing off your light from the grow area. I use a 430 watt agrosun bulb with cooltube and a regular 6 inch inline duct fan to cool the light. For exhaust i use a 4"x20" phat filter and a 265 cfm hydrofarm blower. No smell, no heat, no problems.
thats a good find. now get a reflector to match and u will be set for ventilation. If you want to seal the relfector off from the enviroment then you will need another fan for it, but that is up to you. With that you can run it like this: filter.... duct...reflector....duct....exhaust fan. That is how i had mine setup to start with, but i am planning on adding co2 eventually so i got the cooltube and sealed it off from the room.
