I never said they were bad chems. I said they were mislabelled. The purity on the Bromo Dragonfly was actually rather high, and the two chemical structures in comparison are extremely similar (almost identical), I could see the confusion in the synthesis being an error.

Haupt did not use reagents to test his product, I would say it was murder before suicide.
