I did this a lot as a kid..it's not like being stoned at all...we use to call it frying on drixoral.....we used to eat 10 drixoral cold and cough, it gives the same dose but you don't have to drink all that robo...you will still puke..LOL
dextromethorphan hydrobromide is a hallucinogen...and is Narcotic.....be careful......
my 2 cents stick with weed, or get some shrooms...

thats sum good advice. i use to do it, i would get hangovers from tripping and i would feel stupid as fuck for weeks. im glad i found real drugs like shrooms n lsd!!

I've done this. It's called robo-tripping not robo-baking.
Make DAMN sure you only use cough medicine with the ONLY ACTIVE INGREDIENT being DXM, unless you wanna risk your life that is. You'll need 12-16 oz or this stuff. I usually go with 16 oz, makes for a better experience.
You don't have to throw up or anything, but you can sometimes get a little stomach ache. After the stomach ache goes away you begin tripping.

Yeah I did it about 5 years ago and was wondering if anybody else did. I had a bad reaction to it and my skin turned lobster red and itched like crazy. I was just starting conversation....I didnt mean for all these people to get offended like I was cheating on weed or something.

i used to robo-trip back in the day...it's quite the experiance
just telling people "drink 2 bottles of cough syrup and your good to go" is stupid though...their are so many different brands conatining many different ammount of chemicals.
anyway check the DXM section at erowid to get some good info on it
btw 200mg of dxm is the only dose i ever did (i did it like 20 times) i did them about a month apart to keep from building up too high of a tolerance to the stuff...the shit has some pretty crazy aftereffect (atleast it did on me) it was hard to say big sentaces...i would always scramble up the words and end up studdering real bad and couldnt concentrate on things very well...the after affect lasted up to 2 weeks sometimes

i remember when i first went and bought robotussin DM max, all my freinds were like 'you gotta be fuckin nuts that shit doesnt make you trip'. well were they wrong, i shared that bottle with one of my freinds. I really remember trying to walk. it was like that part in fear and loathing when they do the ether at the circus casino. shit i think everybody should do it atleast once. it was a great experince, nothing compared to shrooms tho.

Haha yeah I remember the walk too!! I felt like I was walking really fast and had some strange energy. My friend and I raced down the street walking with our arms and legs really stiff like robots. Shrooms definitely gives you a different trip but this shit gives you the craziest body fry that I have ever had.

I drank a full bottle of robotussin and took 6 tylenol night time gel caps. I was absolutely wasted, but it was dumb because I couldn't really move. Be very careful with this. Watch the acetaminophen, Recommended doses are 1 gram 4 times a day. Anything three times that at once and your flirting with disaster.

I have robo tripped on several occaisions. Technically DXM isnt a dangerous chemical to your body, so thats why its important to get a cough syrup with only dextromethorphan hbr as the active ingredients.
Anyway, i really enjoy dxm tripping. To me it sorta feels like doing a lot of coke and then going drinking. I dont really get visuals with dxm, but i do feel that crazy manic energy that others were describing. And smoking menthols while roboing feels really good for some reason. Anyway, fine holiday fun.

Yeah i dont know about this whole "robo-trippin" talk. Just say "robo-baked" out loud....
yeah it just rolls off your tongue. "Robo-trippin" has that pause in the middle...its no good.
