seedling missing first two leaves?

i tried to pull the seed from the tip of the leaves too early and ripped the first two leaves with it. The question is can it still grow or is it done?

Mmmmm, those two first leaves, the cotyledons, are like a power pack that makes it possible for the plant to produce true leaves and roots before it's able to get nutrition from the medium it's in. Without them, I can't see it having any chance at all. Try again.

I would not be very confident let the plant do it's own thing.The plant will shed the shell of the seed in it's own time.But at least you have learnt a valuble lesson.
