tell me this,how many people would of known that elite was busted with out this thread,how many people would still be waiting for something that will never come,how many would still be emailing a site that is monitored by leo,how many people want to know how far this reaches and were any other seed merchants involved,before they place their next order.with out this information that came out in this thread nothing would of been told.it has given a lot of people an understanding of what is going on,if that bothers you then dont read it.and if any other helpful information reaches this thread,great.

Hey trapp, i appreciate the discussion. Many peeps calling names on ALL sides (more than two i think). We all (not just you trapp) would be better off working together (within safe reason) than tearing New A-Holes for everyone. I'm a peace-nik (sometimes) but i'm even more a pragmatist.
Use IP randomizing software (i use TOR with a Vidalia GUI)
Get you beans sent to safe a addy (Not your grow space!!)
don't tell ANYBODY (who doesn't HAVE to know)
encrypt your machine (i still need to do this)
Don't sell/buy here~i want RIU to continue
any other thoughts on protecting all of our precious asses appreciated.
i know this all sound like common sense~so common lots forget to do them.

I don't think if they found a list off addresses that it would be enough PC to get a warrant to cum kick in any doors. Especially considering that they got the big guy. Who is who the DEA wanted. If you've ever seen the show DEA they only really get involved with big money operations.

ya im sure most are going to be ok,their not after closet growers,i am glad that people are not emailing elite any more,or at least the ones that caught wind of what has happend.it is a sad thing all the way around.im not sure if leo would be allowed to read his mail,i imagine after they had the warrant they could recieve all his emails if they chose.but im sure more will come out about this.im sure this story is on all the grow threads,so im sure everyone knows by now.im not a member any were else so im not positive,but i cant see it not being reported every were.

very true, but getting on the radar is never a good thing IMHO. Even if it is not probable cause it is enough to keep monitoring your actions. Is this ethical? no. does it happen every day. you bet your ass!

I just glanced at Ironkey~i think its a secure flash drive not an IP randomizer. I wish i knew more than I do about Internet security. I guess it's time to study up.
