ok what we have here is 3 female BCBD PURPS from seed..i will be crossing them with a PURP OLGER x SENSI STAR male..to start a breeding program with to get some nice looking budds with color...i will also make more IBL purp olger beans..I also just started 12 of my #1 female indica X (auto ak47xhindukush) that i crossed.to look for a male & female,i'll be trying to make a short, fast plant that dont branch much to be used in SOG's i will post pics as much as i can though out the grow..any Q's or comments are welcome...MEANGREEN..

heres my #1 purps...all of them are 1 week in to flower and are about 1 1/2 to 2 ft tall..all in canna coco with canna nutes and other nutes.....man can these plants eat!! as u can see they look hungery..they are under a 1000watt MH ..in a 5x5x6 tent, 340cfm inline fan...temps are a lil high stays about 85 with lights on but they dont mind...

Did you just start flowering ?and how old are the plants ? I want to start breeding soon too i just have to move to a bigger place and away from my mother in law!

LOL..there about a month and a half old i think(i was gifted them from a other grower about a month ago)..and yeah there 1 week into flower..what were you thinking of breeding??

just my own supply of which ever strain I like, for my next grow i wana buy a 10 pack of chocolate chunk and then get the best of both sexes and make my own supply of the strain to trade with friends and have a free supply of seeds that way i dont have to maintain a mother plant to long later i will try something fruitty like grapefruit x bubblegum all with time i suppose i still dont understand the math to the T so ima read all i can till i move to another house with more room ,that way i can keep the male away from the girls and right now i can only use a little room me and my dad built in my attic a while back

yeah the chocolate chunk will be easy all u have to do is just keep inbreeding like 3 times and you'll have stable seeds...because the breeders allways sale F1's or leave them just a lil mixed up ,to make it harder for pepole to copy...the grapefruit is satvia right?? that cross sounds sick..

she looks healthy nice and bushy, And see i didnt know i would have to keep inbreeding to get stable seeds i figured they would breed true how long have you been breeding for ? sounds like i can pick up alot of things form you i wonder how that purp olger x sensi star's bud will smell like?

man the smell of the bud is so nice..like lemons with some other sents...taste good too....OK when u get ur 10 pack grow them all out at one time if u can,watch them very closely and take notes of which one pops 1st, how they grow, health, thick stems, hight,etc....make sure ur able to see calxes on ur females before flowering it a show they are mature and ready to flower(also take note of which one was 1st to do so) then clone all of the females(and save in veg)..let all the females start to bud..pull ur males but DONT kill them,find a nice male to use. look at leafs,stems,growth,health,etc...pick and save pollen as it comes by week 2 or 3 put the pollen on a branch of all of ur females,then lable them(the branch).. i put pollen on them about two times in a week...stay with me here i know this is long!......continue to watch all females very closely let them bud as always(this will let u see which 1 does best) but let them go about a week or so longer so ur seeds will be mature..after harvest and cure,see which one yields the most, then smoke the bud to test for potency..remeber to keep seeds apart from one another, pick the female u love the most and has most of what u want....now u can do a few things: u can "backcross" to the clone mother so ur seeds look just like her, or u can grow out the seeds and IBL the best looking brothers and sisters of ur choice...any Q's???.....hope this helped....MEANGREEN.

in your experience is backcrossing a better method when talking about potency doesnt the plant lose potency by inbreeding the seeds(i thought i read something like this else were i dont know)? and so i only have to pollinate one branch will the other branches be sinsemilla? and yeah that did help

OK what ur talking about is called "inbred depression" that when after inbreding a X amount of times u will see a depression of the palnts growth it can be any part of growth not just potency...GRUBS has a thread on this...i will post the link.....and yeah i like a lil sinemilla to smoke(to test for potency and taste) but u can drop pollen on the whole plant if whould like more seeds..thats up to you..MEANGREEN..EDIT HERES HIS THREAD:https://www.rollitup.org/advanced-marijuana-cultivation/121301-inbred-depression.html...and as for backcrossing this is used more for adding a trait to a mother or a nice plant the u have stable for other traits....

well there in 3gal pots and about 2ft tall & doing good so far, i hopeing for 2oz a plant but will be happy with 1 to 1 1/2 oz and my seeds..once i grow them a few times and learn more about them i'll have them locked down...

to tale the true i just been breeding for a year..but im really into it and read about breeding alot...most of the issuse we just talked about are in THE CANNABIS BREEDERS BIBLE..thats a good one to have if ur in to breeding IMO...MEANGREEN..

alaska fish emulsion..5-1-1 and 0-10-10... i have the full line of bionacare too, and add what i need as i see fit..i just had a bad IRON diff with my purps #1 and a small purp olger......cal/mag fixed that..
