Forbidden fruit breeders cut - dwc , 4x4 , jacks , kind x750

This strain has some vibrant colors . Dark purple / orange hues with dark dark green .

Already showing the purple . So stoked to have this cut , and the finish line not far off. I’ll br able to test the indoor grown cut vs the outdoor grown cut ! .

Once my outdoor is done , I’ll use the same exact process for my dry/cure , and test with t-check for total % . I should have a good idea if one produces higher quality then the other - although I 100% suspect the outdoor forbidden fruit will taste better , solely because it’s 100% organic and outdoor always has the best terps .

They’re really starting to put off that fruit aroma , and noticing trichomes stacking very early . Flower time is around 7-8 weeks on this strain. I’ll have to go back and see the exact day I flipped , but I’m prettt sure this is around 2-2.5 weeks max .

Buds are developing nicely . Did some super cropping the other night , trying to flatten the canopy out . The canopy is so dense and floor so cool that I’m seeing 72-74 degree temps max with 82 degree temps above , and my light on 100%
Everything's looking great!

How are the temps outside? I hope things have cooled off.

82 is a little high but the big deal is temps of the buds. That's where this comes into play:

And now that you're heading into the final stretch, get lotsa air flow under the canopy. That's one of the many things that we can do to avoid bud rot.

I’ve lollipopped a large majority of the underneath stuff . I definitely need to dedicate a few hours to defoliating anything and everything touching .
Right now as I type this , it is 80 degrees outside snd it’s midnight .

Keeping temps down with 90+ weather has been a chore if nothing else . I’d say 30-40 days now and I’ll be all wrapped up . Roots are extremely healthy , and temps always seem to stay right at 72 degrees .

I had no idea upstate NY got that hot but it's great that the plant isn't getting fried.

"I’d say 30-40 days now and I’ll be all wrapped up" - yup, you're in the home stretch. Next grow will be a lot easier.

gotta say this one was fairly easy , but cooler temps will make a massive difference . Especially with cold floors . Today it was a cool 89 degrees , and right now it’s down to 73 . 84-88 degrees for the next two weeks lol.

I’m defoliating every 2-3 days and it doesn’t ever seem to make a difference lol.

I’ve defoliated piles of leaves 2x since the last canopy pic .

I do notice every time I defoliate humidity drops 3-5%

Did some heavy heavy defoliation and lower branch removal . I did the front 4 plants - the back 3 still need to be done . Front 4 got complete reservoir scrub downs and fresh cold nutes this evening . Took me about an hour to do the 4 plants , the back 3 will get finished up tomorrow night .

Now at almost daily reservoir fill ups . These girls are drinking and doing it super fast .

Terps are insanely loud - lots of trichomes . She’s gonna be a sticky sticky frosty girl when finished no doubt !

Beautiful flowers!

How's the weather treating you?
Excellent ! It’s been 80 degrees here give or take during the day - tents staying 70-74 lights out , at night 80 degrees with lights on . Reservoir temps are low low 70s , seems to be right where they wanna be . Only complaint is humidity . My humidifier shit the bed and I haven’t had the extra coin to buy a new one . So I’m dealing with high humidity but because of the extreme defoliating and lollipopping as well as
Excellent air flow , I’ve had no signs of wpm or rot . They seem to be loving it honestly . 50/65% all day and night . As long as I can keep the air moving I think I’ll be fine . I’ve seen some very skilled growers who don’t buy into dropping humidity and run 60-65% the entire grow .

It's a combination of things.

I'd do what I can to stay below 60% but if your temps aren't dipping that reduces the odds.
