TRUMP CONVICTED

Recall that he used the courts as a weapon during his term in office? He would declare a presidential order and it would be enforced while lawyers went to court and got orders to stop it. Then he would appeal and the whole thing went to wash, rinse, repeat. He did it at the border, he did it in the airports, he did it regarding the environment, oil drilling, and with illegal use of homeland security officers in Portland Oregon.

The guy used abused the legal system, he didn't administer it.

Looks like he will be a three-time loser and the third time will be a dandy! So, what about Trump's base when she is living in the south of France!

'Wasn't enough to make him stop': Trump lashes out at Carroll 93 times on social media this week

On Friday, a jury ordered Donald Trump to pay a whopping $83.3 million in punitive damages for repeatedly defaming E. Jean Carroll. Hugo Lowell and Joyce Vance, a personal friend of Carroll’s, join Alex Witt to discuss Trump’s reaction to the verdict, his statement announcing he plans to appeal Carroll verdict, and whether E. Jean Carroll could file a third defamation suit for Trump's comments about her recently, including 42 Truth Social posts about her on Monday, 37 on Wednesday, and another 16 posts while he was in court on Friday, the same day the verdict was released.

Absolutely no good reason for doing this. And yet he seems compelled to answer back. The dark triad is strong in this one.

The ironic thing is with the exception of Jack Smith, it will be mostly women bringing him down and one might send him to prison this summer. If he acts out in court in DC, she might be the one to spank him too!

Donald's descent into Hell will be slow motion and on TV, we will watch him squirm and squeal on the way down. It will be a long drop to the abyss with Donald on fire and screaming all the way to the bottom. Get popcorn...

Trump lives rent free in your heads. You are ALL consumed, you can’t help yourselves. The Canadians can’t get it. They elected Trudeau
Trump has an oversized effect on the world, might seem like being consumed, more like we care about what happens the US and the world. Canadian here, will you be showing how the other candidates were better than Trudeau? Because I would like to know who would better represent us.

One of the characters from the show “trailer park boys” would be better than that guy!

It's being said among the talking heads that more than $90M is probably enough for Ms Carroll to let the third round of abuse slide and just move on. OTOH, if she were to start using these trials as fund raisers to help women deal with the trauma and financial repercussions of sexual abuse, she could make it a cause to celebrate. As: Yay! Trump is spouting off again. "May we sign you up for another 100 million for the E Jean Carroll fund for injured women, Mr Trump? Oh, don't bother to reply, we will just take it away from you without asking for your permission. Minus court costs, of course."

Now according to this handy little chart Donald faces a maximum of 55 years in the slammer if (when) found guilty in DC this spring or summer. I dunno how long between conviction and sentencing, but he might have to appeal to get out of jail after conviction. He likely faces 20 years on these charges alone and will have it hanging over his head while out on appeal and running for GOP nominee. Indeed, he might even be sentenced by the GOP convention and be out on appeal. I don't think Chutkan will go easy on him, he has to be there in court and is in her custody, if he acts up, he might be in the DC jail's custody during his trial. Lots of people like mark meadows and Cheesbro might be testifying against him and the prosecutors will be saying nasty things, very nasty things about him!

So, one can imagine how panicked, desperate and freaking out Donald will be if he is running around loose with a 20-year prison sentence hanging over his head and the press interviewing the BOP about his future federal accommodations. Meanwhile the civil courts will be picking him clean of cash and that has only just begun with Jean Carroll, when the capitol police are done with him over J6 the amount of the jury award should be fantastic.

I think I found the article that has that chart. It points out that convictions for these charges do not carry a minimum sentence.

That said, convictions for the obstruction cases Jack Smith is prosecuting “routinely carry significant sentences.”

I wonder how Donald's campaign financing will go in 2024 since he will be raped and pillaged by the civil courts while paying a fortune in legal bills trying to stay out of jail. He will need to hit those small donors harder than a TV preacher to keep those dollars rolling in and to his lawyers. He might even be disqualified on top of that and have to mount a write in campaign while attacking the GOP if he doesn't get the nomination. I can't see this being good for the GOP if he gets the nomination while disqualified or not, in any case it will be hard for them to flush Donald without taking a hit from his fans, even if he is sitting in a cell with a strait jacket on.

What counts is DC and I figure even 10 years for that, and he's done, the charges in Florida are very heavy and most spies are first offenders too, but by then Donald will be a convicted criminal several times over. Will he end up in jail for contempt of court? Will she put him in jail upon conviction until his appeal is granted to get out? She will still own his ass while he is out in public freaking out, he is still in the custody of the court until the BOP takes over. What an election season! It is a fucking nightmare for anybody with brains in the GOP!
