Yup just laid stickies down on top of cup. I put some bt stuff in water for larvae.Yep. Sticky traps help. Diatomaceous earth on top of your medium will kill them too.

Root aphid or fugus gnat.. theres away to tell,, i think it all depends on how they hold their wings. I might be wrong but there is away..lol
Yessir thanks, just applied bti with watering. Just wanted to make sure it's not something else, fungus gnats I can deal with np!get some bti to treat the soil its one of the better products u can use that does no damage to your plants.

Great suggestion thanks. No worries about bringing mites in like that? For those of you that can, start a compost pile. A handful of finished compost mixed in to your FFOF should have enough hypoaspis miles to take care of the gnat larvae before they turn into flyers.
They're a totally different type of mite. If I grew in soil I would act on that tip myself although you can buy the mites themselves onlineGreat suggestion thanks. No worries about bringing mites in like that?
I was very concerned the first time I brought my own compost inside to my grow. Fortunately the only hitchhikers have been those miles. Somehow they survive the heat of the pile yet no "bad" bugs have made it in.Great suggestion thanks. No worries about bringing mites in like that?
