says its got 2 drivers so unless the little 65 watt fahold dims to off it looks unlikely.
Its the other way around, you need to dim main driver to off, and then keep your far red on, and then switch off mains power to kill the far red a little later. Main driver would be more likely to do dim to off so theres a chance. Or simply modify the ac connection a bit. Should be possible but not my favorite solution.

they both must be dim to off otherwise the controller/trolmaster wouldnt be able to turn the far red off at all?. surely cant expect you to run a timer/contactor and a controller.

This explains why growers with sodiums were still killing it because led manipulate spectrum and numbers.

The whole led business was just about money not honesty. If you say they are a little better you couldn't put sodiums down, if you say %30 better yer but more and more it's looking like lies the whole industry over.

I recently posted on a Mars advertising thread that they were all out lies but this takes a few biscuits.

all its going to take is an independent company to test LEDS from a Commercial grower- if that grower owns 100+ lights that company that sold well shit will hit the fan.not one company either, from what I understand from this information theirs more than 1 company involved in fudging figures and products( certain company has done this before under another name in the early days) . Pretty hard to comeback from accusations like this I dont think anyone would want to buy a dodgy company -

Theres a few charlatans working in the industry

But most who caused dispute had led in one room sodium in another and the difference wasn't as advertised.

Then I commented on a Mars as thread where they were saying sodium was monochromatic but my reply that led was closer to monochromatic than sodium.

Then they add on ir and you get %5 for free on sodiums.

It's all up in the air for me, people with sodiums and LEDs are finding different results to what led advertise.

Now we have one of the original hlg saying they shipped the whole market right from the start and gave migrow and others who had lower numbers shit.

Spectrum, light umol, ir..... Three things they replaced sodiums with that now seem dodgy as fuck.

We need a new perspective me thinks. Ashamed to say I own a Mars hydro.

Come on  2 grams per watt is easy with led... Sodiums, not so much.
Pretty well documented for years here

Your 400w Mars Hydro is still gonna put out substantially more than a 400w HPS fixture. The HLG debate is over a 10% difference in photon output between different LED manufactures. Your statement regarding HID is irrelevant to this discussion.

2gram a watt is low for any light with good growers, the point is about the difference being an honest number not who is the best.

Still seems to be a dispute and then gml comes over with how most led companies are shilling us.....

Yeah i run their gear - big woop .

Product Marketing and those stupid par graphs that can be “ bumped “ - so the dollars roll in. What company can resist ?

It’s the oldest scam - like your “ estimated “ miles per gallon based on sticker then you get worse in reality.

Gone run them til the wheels fall off.
( going on 7th year with original build perpetual grows - so no complaints either way ) .

#WINNING
Lol
