Do your base nutrients lack calcium? It can be useful as a Calcium supplement without adding Magnesium. Calcium deficiency is a lot more common than Magnesium.

I don't have that problem, I use CalNit in my Hydro formula. It can be useful as a Calcium supplement without adding Magnesium. Calcium deficiency is a lot more common than Magnesium.
This one is basically water glass (potassium silicate), which is obviously a lot less expensive than silic acid products.TPS GOLD silica is not expensive

The others are just over priced.
No shit, dude. Everyone uses CalNit whether they know it or not. Now what are you going to do if you need more Calcium without adding more N? The answer is gypsum. I rest my case.I don't have that problem, I use CalNit in my Hydro formula.
Not correct. This one is basically water glass (potassium silicate), which is obviously a lot less expensive than silic acid products.
You can get potassium silicate for less than $5 per quart, that's a quarter of the price of "TPS Gold". So it's actually expensive.
You're new here aren't you...lolAlright guys, we need to collectively get our shit together
My formula is balanced in a way that I have adequate Calcium, so it's not an issue for me. There is more Calcium in CalNit than there is Nitrogen. It's pretty balanced, which is why it's so common in agriculture. No shit, dude. Everyone uses CalNit whether they know it or not. Now what are you going to do if you need more Calcium without adding more N? The answer is gypsum. I rest my case.
Really bad idea to put that in the roots. Can be used solo as a foliar tho.
i misread what you said earlier and thought you were saying cannabis is a non-accumulator plant in general. you said only for Si.I searched your linked page for silica...um only one mention of silica and not related to silica accumulation...are you just trying to be confrontational?
CES plant amp. calcium chloride. i don't think there is any added N.Now what are you going to do if you need more Calcium without adding more N?
i use well water and b/t that and my nutes, i've only had 1 strain show a Ca defic. i was showing there is an option to provide Ca w/o Cal nit.Avoid using anything with chloride in the roots. Tap water has enough. Calcium chloride is good for foliar.
you should call CES about that issue. they seem to think it's fineAvoid using anything with chloride in the roots
I already did that. It's called gypsum.i use well water and b/t that and my nutes, i've only had 1 strain show a Ca defic. i was showing there is an option to provide Ca w/o Cal nit.
i'm allergic to gypsum.I already did that. It's called gypsum.
GYPSUM GOD DAMN IT !!!
Really bad idea to put that in the roots. Can be used solo as a foliar tho.
Most hydro growers aren't going to be using tap water. A bit of chloride is fine, and actually needed in EC 0 water:Avoid using anything with chloride in the roots. Tap water has enough. Calcium chloride is good for foliar.
There is more to life than hydro. It's not all about you. Most hydro growers aren't going to be using tap water. A bit of chloride is fine, and actually needed in EC 0 water:
Information On Chloride And Plant Growth
One of the most recent additions to the list of micronutrients is chloride. In plants, chloride has been shown to be an important element for growth and health. Learn more about chloride in this articwww.gardeningknowhow.com
I may come out sounding like an asshole but I'm here to learn like everybody else. Not more or less. Cheers! You’re especially stupid. Ignorant is probably the better word. Keep trying though.
