Received my Mars-Hydro ts1000 damaged

I have bought so many things over the years with small defects, and I always ask myself; does it work and can I live with it. If yes I never bother to ship stuff back. Just rewired a fan when it stopped working a week or two after getting it. Sure I could have called amazon and had a new one here within 2 days.....but I spent 10 minutes to just rewire it. It's a shame all the stuff people return these days over basically aesthetic issues. People buy shit these days to try it and then return it. Crazy.
I wouldn't buy most grow equipment on Amazon because so many people use shit and return it. They repackage it and resell it as new. Thanks for the free PM and whatever else you've just introduced to my grow room.

I've bought fans and aero-cloners on there, and yeah, pretty sure a lot of the fans were not new.

I don't sell weed anymore, used to years ago. But regardless, you are not buying weed so you are saving money by growing your own. So what are you going to do with a 8 to 9 pounds of weed a year? Weed makes great stocking stuffers.

Ya, I bought one and it was obviously not brand new and in the proper packaging, so it went back and I ordered through a grow supply store. I only buy from Amazon when I can't get stuff somewhere else. Too many shady practices go on there.
Weird I have had great experiences there and free delivery
Now don't get me started on Home depot

Hahaha. Funny man. We've been trying to get a granite backsplash from them that isn't broken. We've been dealing with this for over a year now, lol. My wife went today because they got another one in for us, and guess what? It was broken again. This is the 8th time and every time the shit gets busted in transit to the store. We're trying again for number 9, lol. I couldn't tell you how much they've wasted in shipping cost to themselves.

buy decent gear - why buy cheap crap with crap packaging and then complain- so many do it, and stuff up, dont buy cheap nasty lights with crap backup and customer service - you reap what you sow.... in my view why buy a chap light from china to say a few penny's when you can buy from the rip off charlatan at Optic same deal they dont build they buy and rename lights same as all other cheap crap out there .
Get sick of people complaining about shit, people to quick to blame others for what they have done , seems to be more prevalent in the USA as seems to be more rip off merchants selling cheap crap ...
Just seen some crap an elderly friend was sent by the so called GROW BOSS - what a tosser, rip off merchant... pisses my off when company's rip people , I wont start on Nutrients and theres alot of rip off pricks out there selling re bagged crap as well....

I thought the idea of forums like this was for people to share their knowledge and experiences good and bad. For people to learn from one another.

If someone has a good experience buying something from a retailer and they share it then people are more apt to buy from them.
If someone has a bad experience with a retailer and shares it people know to be cautious buying from them.
But now it's quit your crying, Or I'm sick of people buying cheap crap and bitching about poor customer service. If everyone stops sharing their buying experiences then everyone will be buying blindly. Since when has it become ok for a retailer of anything to send you damaged goods of any kind and try to offer a tiny refund for you to shut up. And then have people have the retailer's backs and tell the consumer that received the damaged goods it their fault for buying it? I guess all the people on here saying don't buy cheap lights bought the best light going their first purchase. For everyone supporting the poor customer service I bet if it was you, you would feel different about it. But again it's the person buying the light with decent reviews on rollitup fault. If Mars-Hydro is such a crap light maker why does rollitup allow them to be an advisor on this site?

Edit @Growbag22 this was the only thing I found funny, I don't think it's ok retailer behaviour, only funny you'd think rollitup somehow has you, the users, back and not whoever sends them checks. It never works like that ,always follow the money.

Around here the normal suppliers beat them on prices for granite.

Because you don’t seem to grasp reality. The light was fine leaving the seller but instead of crying about ups, fed-ex or the Chinese version of them, you’re crying about the seller who actually made you a good offer, but you don’t want a good offer, you want top tier service at street ho prices.
