Every thing I just looked at says not a chance pal. There was one report from 1955 but of course no one can contact the guy who got bit by said shark nor his rescuer.

There are also electric traps to make sure invasive species dont get into lake Michigan.

Although sharks have been found on the beach outside of the lake Michigan none have been found in lake Michigan.

Same for lake Ontario
Figured lake Ontario was a shoe in. Its a straight shot up the river. Thought l read a few times about sharks in l Michigan, must be confusing it with another body of water. Thought Bull sharks have been caught in great lakes, not Great Whites. Bull sharks bull shits ahh l get it! Lol!

I'm ashamed to show my pike lol...

I've caught 8/10 pike at my local Loch but all Jack's the biggest was only 4-5lb.

There's big pike in the Loch and pretty much zero fishing pressure everyone is after the specimen trout, it's fly only and I can't cast big pike flies for very long or I'd apply myself for a day.

I thought about using a 11ft switch rod with a short skagit head to carry the big flies out but never got around to it.

Depending on the weather over the weekend there's a chance of some good sea trout fishing I've got butterflies at the thought of it (fingers crossed)

This year has been dire on my local I've only been out for salmon twice and more in hope than expectation, now its at that point in the season where all we need is rain for a good chance of a salmon.

I wish they would stock browns here but they only stock native fish now. We used to get 10lb rainbows but they stopped putting them in our lake. Now just Lakers :(. View attachment 4935278
As far as i’m aware, they will not stock Browns any longer here in Ca either. Been that way for years now.
Hopefully i won’t be so busy next early spring(yeah rite). That’s when we catch some hogs on Lake Shasta. Big ass Bows in the summer, Big Browns March-april.
And now the kokanee AND the landlocked kings are doing great in there too. Hopefully there’s water in there next year :-(

A few stocked rainbow trout they're triploid so they can't breed, rainbow trout is pretty much all you'll find stocked now, apparently they're easier, quicker cheaper than raising brown trout.

It used to be a prestigious brown trout club back in the day but rainbows are a sign of the times.

Oh I’m sure it’s not a great thing to stock non native fish but I do miss the rainbows. We used to have some monster pike (20lb+) but their very sparse now, lots of changes in the 60 years I’ve lived on the lake, not good ones :(.

Ours lasted 5 years then died out, the lake association paid for them with a few raffles, we bought 5000 fingerlings, that was 20 years ago lol.
