Until something goes wrong and you have to wait months for service because they lack support infrastructure. I was a fan early on but they seem more focused on developing self driving technology than they do in providing service support after the sale. I would never buy one myself as there are better options out there now with many more that will be hitting the market in the next couple of years.
This man was so fed up trying to get his Tesla fixed that he ended up doing it himself
Once Greg Furstenwerth's Tesla Model S was out of warranty, he took on the repairs himself and found it surprisingly easy.
