Super Silver Haze

Hey guys i'm new to the forum. I have only done 1 grow so far, and it is actually still in the process (drying). I grew from clones that are supposedly white widow but i'm having my doubts....

Anyways that has nothing to do with my question. I was reading a local seed site (apparently the best place to go in the city I'm in) and i was reading up on the different fem strains they got. I was aiming for bubba kush with some knowledge of indices/sativas etc. They didn't have any seeds left.. So I went for Super Silver Haze. Every strain they describe on their site seems to be the same "stamp" of "great bud" or "high in THC" and so on... I was just wondering what I should ACTUALLY expect from this plant? (avg yield indoor, type of high, etc)

thanks!

It has been a couple of years but love the stuff and currently have a pheno of Lady Cane (SSH x G13) which has all the looks and structure of SSH. True to its sativa genes it is a tall, fast growing plant which can be fairly branchy. She should produce large colas with sugar leaves turning a nice purplish shade through flower. Depending on the breeder she can be sensitive to nutes during flower but mine were always hungry through flower and I feed them right up until they finished. Oh and they tend to love to stretch out their roots and are finicky when cramped.
Hope this helps good luck.

Thanks a lot. The other comments scared me a bit but yours seems more legit and intelligent. I guess it was a bad idea regardless to settle but I couldn't find bubba anywhere!! The seeds are like 150 for 5 here so I kinda don't want to just give up on them. Regardless thanks for the intel. I saw someone talk about cred points or something. I would give you them but I'm a noob to the forum. How do I do so?
It cool. You should definitely keep looking for the bubba, and especially the pre 98 bubba if you can. It's legendary, but the folks who have the real deal usually don't like to give it up just like that. If you have acess to the seeds of the real thing you might wanna think about going for it. Keep the female as a mother and take endless clones from it.

If it is the original Super Silver Haze and not a knockoff this will tell you a bit about it.

Strain:
Super Silver Haze
Breeder: Mr. Nice
Location: indoor, outdoor, greenhouse
Type: indica/sativa
Flowering: ~63 days
No feminized seeds.
Mr Nice Seedbank - Super Silver Haze

A champion of champions since winning its hat-trick at the 1997, 1998, and 1999 High Times Cannabis Cups and comprising of the most commercial strains known to the uncivilized world: Skunk, NL and Haze. Such achievements confer an undoubtedly regal pedigree. It has an excellent breed for those who wish to possess the stash of stashes and leaves one gasping for reality. This complex hybrid is in the cutting edge in practical Haze hybrids, designed to astound the grower and consumer alike. Recommendation is unnecessary as most people can not see the Haze for their daze.

Family of breed: 25% Skunk, 25% Northern lights, and 50% Haze
Breeder: Nevil and Shantibaba's
Preferred medium: Bio and Hydro, Indoors and outdoors/greenhouse
Expected yield: indoor expect 450-550 g/m2 but this can easily be outdone - g/hand outdoor 550+ g/plant
Flowering period: Expected finishing time for an indoor grow would be between 8-10 weeks of flowering. In the northern hemisphere by late October and in the southern hemisphere by the mid to late April.
Recommendations: For the experienced growers to the most advanced. Highly valued as a finished product
Special Notes: A winner of multiple awards including 97,98 and 99 HTCC as well as it being called by other names in various different countries such as Amnesia haze, the Bomb etc...

Super Silver Haze is a sativa marijuana strain bred by Green House Seeds. It was the first prize winner at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 1997, 1998, and 1999. Super Silver Haze is made by crossing Skunk, Northern Lights, and Haze creates a beautiful, sticky strain that boasts an energetic, long-lasting body high. The uplifting effects are a great for high stress levels or when suffering from a lack of appetite or nausea.

one of my favorite phenos is actually the Catpiss strains which are SSH and a specific, rare cut of the flower that give off ammonia's, piss, and chem smells and taste that does wonders for bipolar, ptsd, anxiety and gives a nice case of the munchies

I am not but I work in a dispensary and we work with a grower that's a veteran who knows his stuff! Him and his wife made me learn all about organics and I'm phasing out my synthetics for organics. Great people with great flower

Actually it was bred by Neville and Shantibaba for greenhouse who no longer have the original parents.
Shantibaba at MNS sells the only true SSH as it was in the cups. Neville was still breeder and took his mum's/mostly dad's to MNS.

So yeah you have one thing right Greenhouse did release it but they don't have breeding stock. Hence the feminised seeds. (Selected cut with chems no breeding involved)

Copy and paste from the interwebs. Thank you for informing me of the true origin! Like nobody knows where the P-91 pheno comes from but I've paid top dollars for seed from a guy I know. I really wish we had categorized and collected genetic markers and material before Mass hybridization

Isn't it an inbred NL?

And sorta did have seedfinder that did try to put genetic markers in but it's hard to believe the hype in our days.

Edit, Most of the strains that won are still available un touched at Mr nice seedbank. SSH is always selling for $€90+ for a 18 pack in the auction.
