You’re pushing 100% false information. I literally know home grow medical patients that got raided. You’re admin, and you’re giving info that could get people incarcerated, not very bright. A guy in my county got busted a month ago for having 8 clones in his truck for fucksake. That doesn’t scream law enforcement doesn’t care if it’s less than 100, does it? BTW, the only dispensaries in my county are medical, so it’s almost 100% that he was medical.

It's not false info, you "just heard some stuff." I guess you must live in a shithole county in California.

I'm not going to waste my time telling you the law. You're close to Sacto, look it up.

Check out the Cali rules, they’re freakin odd. You can keep everything you grow off your six plants, you can have up to an lb of shit you got elsewhere, you can gift up to an oz at a time, but you can only have an oz on your person.
You are 100% wrong and need to stop accusing people of spreading misinformation when you’re the only one doing so here. There are separate regulations for recreational and medical growers that are decided on a county by county basis. Indoor and outdoor grows have differing regulations as well. For instance, the 6 plant limit does not apply for medical growers in my county. There is no indoor plant count as long as you keep your canopy under 100 sq ft. Again, this is just for Sonoma county but it’s still proof that you are the one spreading misinformation based on personal anecdotes. Here is the county site and a screenshot for the lazy.

from what I see there it says medical has no plant count limit, just a max of 100sf? which tbh to me is actually clarification we needed for a long time. plant count is arbitrary and ppl are in jail for stupid sentences because of it. Canopy size makes way more sense. if I want to grow 100 or 400 plants in 100sf I can now. that makes more sense to me for a homegrow / medical usage than the ppl bending rules to grow 6 plants w each one under 2K w Hps.

the one thing that would be nice to clarify is whether a rack style vertical grow you have to count each rack or total SF. I could see arguments for both. also what about vertical trellis grows?

[ edit ] sorry I posted this before properly reading. thought this was the person making the other argument. thank you for posting.

It seems pretty clear to me. You just take you measurements at the top of the canopy. You can have more than one canopy, you just add it all together. For instance, I have 2 5x5 tables, assuming both tables are filled I have 2 25 sq ft canopies so 50 total sq ft of canopy. If I put the tables on a rack and had one on top of the other I'd still have the same size canopy. Same thing if I turned it on its side and went with a vertical trellis. You can measure the area no matter what plane its on.

$30 a gram :shock: Nobody forgets the lube as frequently as uncle Sam :lol:
Sheesh. $80-$120 a zip here on the street. My buddy's coworker grows mediocre outdoor here and mails it back home to family in Michigan. He gets $100/zip for UNTRIMMED bud. He literally plants 6 plants every season and waters them, no ferts other then what's in the soil. Come harvest time all he does is chop the plants and dries them. Sends back a few zips a month for an extra $500 a month. Easiest side hustle ever. As far as I know weed is legal out there but they go thru all that trouble for "Cali Weed" even though its straight low effort mids.

You might not but those people do. Makes no damn sense to me. I've seen plenty of good weed come out of Michigan, or anywhere for that matter. I don't understand the whole obsession with "cali" weed. You can grow good weed in fuckin Antartica with the right equipment.

As for Virginia...

It looks like a 4 plant limit for home cultivation with 2 mature plants and 2 immature plants. I'm interpreting that as meaning 2 in flower and 2 in veg at any given time. Some states that have legalized recreational don't allow home cultivation. Any decent grower can keep themselves supplied with that limit.

§ 4.1-1101. Home cultivation of marijuana for personal use; penalties.
A. A person 21 years of age or older may cultivate up to two mature marijuana plants and two immature
marijuana plants for personal use at their place of residence; however, at no point shall a household contain
more than two mature marijuana plants and two immature marijuana plants. For purposes of this section, a
"household" means those individuals, whether related or not, who live in the same house or other place of
residence.
A person may only cultivate marijuana plants pursuant to this section at such person's main place of
residence.
B. A person who cultivates marijuana for personal use pursuant to this section shall:
1. Ensure that the marijuana is not visible from a public way without the use of aircraft, binoculars, or
other optical aids;
2. Take precautions to prevent unauthorized access by persons younger than 21 years of age; and
3. Attach to each mature marijuana plant and immature marijuana plant a legible tag that includes the
person's name, driver's license or identification number, and a notation that the marijuana plant is being grown
for personal use as authorized under this section.
C. A person shall not manufacture marijuana concentrate from home-cultivated marijuana. The owner of
a property or parcel or tract of land may not intentionally or knowingly allow another person to manufacture
marijuana concentrate from home-cultivated marijuana within or on that property or land.
D. The following penalties or punishments shall be imposed on any person convicted of a violation of this
section:
SB1406S1 157 of 263
1. For possession of more than two mature marijuana plants and two immature marijuana plants but no
more than 10 total marijuana plants, (i) a civil penalty of $250 for a first offense, (ii) a Class 3 misdemeanor
for a second offense, and (iii) a Class 2 misdemeanor for a third and any subsequent offense;
2. For possession of more than 10 but no more than 49 marijuana plants, a Class 1 misdemeanor;
3. For possession of more than 49 but no more than 100 marijuana plants, a Class 6 felony; and
4. For possession of more than 100 marijuana plants, a felony punishable by a term of imprisonment of not
less than one year nor more than 10 years and a fine of not more than $250,000, or both.

Ha, you are right. I had a homie who had trouble unloading a couple pounds last year so he made up a strain name, took new pics of it and raised the price per pack a couple hundred bucks...sold it a few hours later. People are stupid.
