Yeah sometimes I'm not real good at the battles I pick.
I just find it exhausting sometimes. I have a friend who is ecstatic about mask mandates. Yet only for the fact that it makes it acceptable to wear a face mask to “thwart” the facial recognition software.

It’s not that I don’t agree with you. The theft of our information is criminal and pretty outrageous. And it’s all part of a larger program in place poised to enforce a greater level of manipulation in the future...

But it just feels like swimming against a tsunami. Like...what’s the point? I know complacency is part of the problem, but I have other things I need to put my energy towards these days.

I don't get to ride as much anymore as I used to, but I love riding when I do have free time.

I just ride for leisure, nothing hardcore. Mostly just paved trails and some dirt/gravel roads

Here's my bike, nothing special just an entry level Cannondale Trail 29er. Only things I've upgraded so far is my stem, handlebars and pedals. I have RaceFace stem/handlebars and Odyssey triple trap pedals

Here's some pictures

Yeah I got it patched together enough, but I need a new bottom bracket. It's a fun little ride, only 5-10 miles depending on the route we take. Last night was one of the longer ones.

it would be fun to get one of those old banana seat bikes, convert it to an ebike and cover it in led's and streamers. They have a bunch of them on kijiji for next to nothing.

What smart phone do you use? Unless it's an old nokia running symbian I have some bad news for you.
Yeah I know, we are all critters these days for corporate America to harvest information off of. I stayed with a flip up till work required a smarter one and Yes I've enjoyed having it, I love taking pictures and posting them. I just hope all the tech doesn't come back around and screw us all in the end.

I don't think it's possible to participate in our digital society without forgoing at least some of your privacy.

That’s pretty legit dude! Definitely a capable bike! And heck, any bike that gets you out riding(safely) is a good bike!

I also use an older (98') Cannondale. An early Carbon/Titanium rig.
An inebriated purchase.
Ugly as Fuq, but still rides nice enough for me.

not my pic..
I lusted after the raven in red and black when I was 10. I couldn't convince my parents to drop $3,000 on one for me. Still really high demand for that frame due to the unique look.

No shit? Was she rocking the fish at that time? Also was it before or after she got popped with a moving van full of flower?
LOL I had to look that up...I didn't know she got in trouble. Shit it had to be just before that. Probably around 06 maybe 07. She's fast. I took a fall over a berm. A table top was just before the turn and I overshot the landing. Blew right through the turn and shattered my chest protector off of me. Did I tell you she's fast?

Search youtube for video footage of her bouncing off of trees and getting back on the bike and still winning races, yeah she's fast as hell and likely a little cray cray, but in a good way.. I wish her the best in whatever she is doing.

These are interesting.

An electric assist model. 75 mi on 1 charge.

Would this make you feel like flying?

This one is better than a dog. It does not bite and does not leave land mines behind.

E Bikes are a slippery slope.. Many cost as much as a solid motorcycle or high end scooter? Some are as fast if not faster than some motorbikes and to top it off many don't seem to even require registration or insurance to ride, and they are being ridden where regular bicycles are being ridden and can present a serious safety issue.. When one of these ends up in the hands of people who don't know how to ride a regular bike very well the risk increases.
