up in the foreground to the far right is poison mimosa. I gave everyone a shot of magnesium and cluster funk said it wasn’t necessary lol. I really look forward to familiar runs. This set right here is what I want to be my staple, I have a pure Durban that will probably be the preferred Sativa but this mimosa cross has great structure.

I just secured some more clones, from a dispensary up in Albuquerque Tidal Wave which is archive cross of Hollywood pk x dosidos. Also: meat breat, motorbreath 15, a-dub, fire og, and gelato 33! With an heirloom sour diesel in the works. I feel like luck is turning around for me!

Update on the new ipm, so I have made full application of both grandevo and venerate and my impression is that when they say the knockdown power is limited they mean it doesn’t have knockdown power. You’re far better off just getting a hose and turning the pressure up, matter of fact that’s my recommendation. Take a hose to them first, hold your plant upside down and wash it off with good pressure on a hose end sprayer. Let them sun dry for a bit then apply the natural insecticide, plant upside down as to thoroughly coat the underside of the leaves. Any insects that eat treated plant matter will suffer nervous system and reproduction disruption. So basically it’s gonna take like a couple of weeks to get control if this is your single mode of action so some forms of “knockdown” are a better way to get rid of mites. There are many ways to get rid of spider mites but this is more about keeping them from returning. The biological agent works best on young mites but the adults are affected and die in about three to five days. It’s slow like neem when they eat it and won’t make your flowers unusable.

I need a place to document my work it will help me keep dates and different aspects about what I’m doing. This is a documentary on a medicinal perpetual grow, a place to discuss growing cannabis but mostly a way to keep track of dates and pictures. I live in New Mexico and it’s a good life here, soon we will have recreational access in this state but for now it is medicinal only. Sometimes I miss Colorado where I was born and raised but I do like the desert. Enough on the introduction, that’s not important.

I’m currently running a super silver sour diesel haze from connoisseur genetics, also a “bubba kush” from Humboldt seed organization and just flipped a cluster funk from Bodhi. I have other stuff coming up but I’ll comment on that shortly. This one is finishing up and fading fast. Most importantly, your bud looks spectacular. Super frosty. Nice work!

im the same way. Frankly, a grow journal is easier than other ways to document. So easy to upload some pix, type a few lines, n move on. I need to do more of it.

Thank you!

Thinking someone has been burping a lot of jars lately. GMO is in it for the long haul huh.....what are it's genetics : ?)
The GMO or garlic, mushroom, onion cookies is a cross of (chemdog d x Girl Scout cookies). It’s a stretchy plant and now I know that when they say she is 11 week plant they were meaning the nugs chunk up then but she isn’t ripe! The bud from this baby is pungent and delicious though, my clones Of her dried out but she is easy to get and not real expensive either. A lot of people have her and will share, now I know why, she kind of a pita.

So testers of the ecsd have me bummed out, there’s no funk. Like calling it “diesel” is a misnomer. It’s potent and has some herby, peppery (flavor), and it’s smooth but no pungency. To me diesel should be pungent. The Larry og is fruitier than I remember but really nice and mellow, I think it’s further down the worked line of that cultivar. The last harvest of BOnions is hard as rock, that one likes a long cure for sure but already has grape/berry with loud gas and armpit funk. No way a bubba cross should be shouting down a sour diesel cross. lol

On a lighter note I have chem d, og 18 , cluster funk, and gg4 in flower set stanking up the whole fucking neighborhood. I have a small purple punch that has a pretty serious funk to it also. I’m not going to miss out on pungency this round! I should wind up with a pungent dent in my forehead.
GMO is in the dark for a couple days, not going to try and take her to 13 weeks. She will start having bud necrosis without more food at this point and I think she will drop more pistils if I were to do that and she’s been faded as far as possible. It’s time. I don’t feel like she’s as developed as she could have been. I don’t have clones so I won’t run her again, I hate feeling like I left improvements on the table without closure if it’s a strain I like. I have some chem cookie trip to check out that are in the same vein of flavor/terps that fit my environment a bit better. Time will tell, chem and the cookies mix well though. I really like grease monkey from mikes exotic genetics, that shit is fire!

@Thundercat how are your gmo plants doing? Based on what I saw indoor I can’t imagine what the sun would do to this girl.

They are dried and getting smoked :). They turned out ok, decent smoke with a pretty strong funk that my wife thinks smells like coffee. They didn’t get enough sun to really bulk up the buds, but they packed in resin. I’ve got a big ass purple punch I’m running as my summer plant.

Ya some kind of coffee and cookie dough with weed funk. You know I’m thinking that they need little light for the frost to lay in, heavy to bulk. This plant isn’t the easiest thing to grow but I like the terps. I may have to try and run it again. It’s crosses are good, and I’ve had samples of gmo that were just amazing.

It finished badly, I ran her too close with nutes and it was hot as hell here last month. I hope it’s descent smoke but I’m not happy about how it finished. I usually make my own “super soil” but my ingredients became hodgepodge during quarantine. I’m a bit disenfranchised at the moment, consistency in quality of base ingredients is embarrassing in my opinion. I bought some fox farm trio, got a great deal on a quart pack of all 3 for $36 shipped! The nutes look less natural than I remember but they still seem to work the same. I recently was told earth juice made a high quality dry amendment, happy frog just doesn’t have as rich of a recipe any more. I really don’t want to be a poop chemist, not my purpose so trying to blend my own is going to place I don’t want to be.

Yeah I don't want to be a poop chemist either....I'm happy with Ocean Forest, the plants love it. They had a fire recently in their plant in Tennessee and I couldn't find any FFOF anywhere around here so ordered it on line and that's how I've been getting it since.

Got what looks to be some real nice insanely frosty phenotypes in the closet, I'll have to post some pics in my journal sometime soon. Your girls look real happy man hope life is treating ya good!

Is that what happened? All their natural products disappeared and I have been scrambling since quarantine hit.
I hope life’s treating you well too my friend. Thanks for the kind words on the girls, I’m thinking they will be performing well this round. The gorilla glue is overwhelmingly skunky, just wow!
I have two new og chem phenos, still trying to find that girl I used to have. One of these has the right nose, I’m not as hung up on the structure but none of the packs I have run since then have produced a female of that structure. I’ve run three more packs at this point. I have half a pack left.
on my recent clone purchasing craze I picked up both the parent mothers of the og chem I fell in love with. I figure worst case I’ll just load a half bowl of each of those and call it a day Hahahaha
This is that gg#4 at 3 weeks.

I’m getting some pistil fade from the venerate spray ipm, but if I never see spider mites again it will be too soon. From now on I’m doing rotations of captain jacks, venerate, and grandevo. The spinosad has pretty good knockdown for something organic. I’m pretty satisfied otherwise, the room is cooling off and other than some cal mag rescue on the gorilla glue all is well. I’ll take some pics in the garden this weekend.
On a negative I took cuts of my chem d a bit late and they didn’t root so I pulled her to reveg instead, it’s just not worth potentially loosing her.

Man, I have found a couple of seeds. Just before I went ahead and let my SSSDH male go he started dropping balls. I thought I caught him and cleaned well enough, just goes to show how persistent nature is. I will have at least a try at poison mimosa & chem d x sssdh, only a seed or two but that will be a happy accident I’m sure. If you look at that last pic of poison mimosa you can see it actually. It has since breeched the calyx and is obviously ripening a seed. Same on the chem.
Here we have og 18, purple punch, poison mimosa, and cluster funk are the last two.
